A very quiet, large independent basement family apartment with own kitchen and own spacious bathroom with a private free parking on the quiet street in the village of Chorherrn, 5 km from the tourist town of Tulln an der Donau. It is accessible by the outside staircase by a separate entrance from the garden site. It is a part of the detached house occupied by the two owners with 13 outdoor cats and a female friendly dog (Jagdhund). Our guests' friendly pets are allowed by earlier request and are free of charge (extra 5 fee for every pet above 2 pets per stay). There is a small garden sitting area for guests comfortable for smoking and additional area with a table and chairs for outdoor eating (summer months). Breakfast is available on earlier request and costs 12 Euros per person for continental breakfast (incl. cereal, cornflakes, bread rolls, butter, jam, cheese selection, cold meats, fruit yoghurt, milk, fruit juice, tea & filtered coffee) or 12 Euros per person for hot breakfast (incl. hot eggs - choice of boiled, fried, scrambled or omelet, sausages, fried tomatoes or baked beans, garnish salad, bread rolls, fruit juice, fresh filtered coffee or tea. Vegan, gluten free & fruit options available on request. In the summer breakfast is served in the garden under the pine tree, otherwise is self served in the apartment. Please note sat TV offer is limited but wifi is available (incl. ethernet cable). Please let us know the arrival time when booking with us. Thank you!
We would like to welcome you to stay with us in Chorherrn! We are a Polish and English couple who enjoy living in this lovely, quiet Austrian countryside, round the corner from the busy tourist town of Tulln and a short train ride (20 min) to Vienna's centre or to Vienna's airport (45 min). It is always an interesting experience for us to meet new people who choose to stay in our family apartment. We accommodate all sorts of travellers whether on business or privately passing through Tulln and the area. We are looking forward to hosting you and make your stay away from home as pleasant and comfortable as possible! We are big fans of animals so your pets are most welcome! Hope to see you soon! :-)
The location is very quiet, on a street with only 3 occupied houses and leading directly to the country walks through the fields and local villages. A very comfortable place for walking your dog (or a cat). As it is only 5 km from the beautiful town of Tulln an der Donau and a great stay over for people traveling to the Alps for skiing and hiking, as well as for those touring the Danube or visiting town exhibitions (Tulln Messe) or just for walks, bike rides and site seeing. There is a bike track going through local fields all the way to Tulln. For Vienna trips, there is a fast train line from Tullnerfeld train station (P&R) (7 min by car from the property) to the centre of Vienna main train stations (Westbanhof, HBF, Meidling) and to Vienna Airport (Flughafen Wien). The train ticket (11 Euros) includes the inner zone for using public transport in Vienna. There is an infrequent bus line from the village going directly to Tullnerfeld train station. For those who don't travel by car, we can arrange a private transfer to/from the centre of Tulln or the train stations in Tulln or Tullnerfeld for 10 Euros (local taxi is about 20 Euros one way) if available and requested earlier.
