The garden loft is located in the center of Murau, directly on the Murpromenade. On 2 floors (approx. 80 square meters) the apartment offers a spacious living, dining and 2 sleeping areas. The upper level, an open space with a glass front, offers a great view of the Mur and the garden. There is a nice bathroom with a bath and a separate shower and a fully equipped kitchen. Access to the apartment can only be reached on foot (approx. 3 minutes) via the Murpromenade from the Tieranger car park. (NOT via Liechtensteinstraße) There is a private parking space available for you at the Tieranger car park for the duration of your stay. On the lower floor is the master bedroom with a double bed (incl. door). On the upper floor there are more sleeping possibilities: 1 double bed above the TV and 2 single beds (bunk beds) - both in the open space. Highlights of the garden loft are the glass front on the upper floor with a view of the Mur and the garden, as well as the covered terrace with a lounge corner and dining table.
Hello, we are Tine & Tom. Tom is your main contact. As hosts, it is particularly important to us to provide beautiful and special apartments. We furnish the apartments with great attention to detail and we are happy when the guests like it. You are more then welcome to ask for tips for activities and restaurants. We like to travel ourselves, are close to nature and also sporty. We have a cat who strays through the garden curiously but who is very shy to other people.
Our house is in the middle of the old town of Murau. The garden loft is located directly on the Murpromenade / the river Mur. You can reach the apartment from the Tieranger car park via the Murpromenade via a footpath. It is a few minutes' walk to the main square (Schillerplatz) via the stairs at the Postbrücke. In the inner city area there are three cafés, a few restaurants (pizzeria, brewery, hotel restaurant), an organic shop, a bakery and a butcher within walking distance. On Fridays the market takes place in the main square, where regional products can be bought (the market is small and lovely). A little outside of the town center there is a farmer's shop with wonderful breads, cheese and sausage specialties and much more. m. as well as a Billa and two Spar supermarkets, Hofer, Lidl, Bipa and DM. Also worth mentioning are the beautiful walks along the Mur, around the Leonharditeich and the Frauenhain. The Frauenalpe, Murau's local mountain, offers opportunities for hiking, biking and in winter for ski tours, tobogganing and snowshoe hikes. The Kreischberg is 15 minutes away by car, a fantastic ski mountain and also easily accessible by train.
