The original hotel has been extended and modernised, including a reasonably sized pool with panoramic views. The same views can be had from the restaurant, which serves excellent, yet traditional fare. On the evening we arrived, it was BBQ night and we thoroughly enjoyed the freshly prepared meat and vegetable dishes. The room was a good size, with a comfy bed and a seating area, comprising a typical corner bench and table you find in many Austrian homes. The bathroom was spacious, well appointed and had plenty of shelving and storage space for toiletries. Staff are friendly and quick to serve.

Surrounded by nature, set 3 km from Strallegg and next to a ski lift, Der Almblick features a restaurant serving seasonal Austrian cuisine. Free WiFi access is available in all areas of the property.
