This is a beautiful hotel by the lake with the most amazing staff. On the day we were supposed to check-in, we got lost on the hiking trail and it was starting to get dark. We called the hotel reception to check if they had a taxi service we could use. Unfortunately they didn’t have a taxi service. However, the receptionist, Katrin, came to find us in her personal car and took us to the hotel. She went out of her way to drive through the entire trail and find us! It was the kindest thing we had experienced the entire trip. The restaurant, amenities, and services were all fantastic. Next time we’re in Austria, we will definitely stay here longer.

This traditional family business enjoys a particularly quiet and idyllic location on the sun terrace high above the Salzach Valley, away from the hustle and bustle at the end of the valley. The hotel has a large sunbathing area plus a private area for hotel guests right on the Böndlsee, a popular bathing lake. Please note that the skiing and hiking area Dienten/Hochkönig is approx. 36 minutes away by car (via Schwarzach im Pongau) - not 15 minutes by car as indicated in Google. The newly renovated Hotel Seeblick offers comfortable rooms, furnished with great attention to detail, almost all with a balcony, a restaurant with home-style cooking and a large children's play area with a climbing wall. The spacious panoramic indoor pool has a separate children's pool. Hotel Seeblick also offers a fitness, table tennis and billiards room. The wellness area includes an aroma steam bath, a Finnish sauna, a herbal bath, an infrared cabin and much more. Massages and beauty treatments are also offered. Hotel Seeblick guests receive a 20% green fee discount at the nearby golf course.
