The water garden cottage we stayed in was so quiet, private with our own personal waterfall. The cottage itself was cosy and warm. The spa was spacious and luxurious. You have everything you need if you wish to eat in the cottage.

Room was decorated to suit the era. The ferns outside the window brought the outside in. Windows could be opened. Effective heater. Walk into town, via the river, was lovely.

The Red Wood Forest, Mount Donna Buang, LaLa Falls & the Blue Lotus Garden were a few of the best places to visit when in the Warburton area. There are several great walking trails and outdoor nature places to sightsee with friends and family.

Absolutely like the rainforest gallery.
Absolutely like the rainforest gallery. We got there early - it was very serene and original. The redwood forest was stunning. Again, we got there early in the morning so not crowded. Yarra River walk was very good. Lots of ducks. There are duck food sold in nearby shops and visitor centre.

It's a beautiful region along the Yarra River, I think about 75km from the mouth of the river at Melbourne. Tons of huge gum trees and forest, and wineries and farms and village type areas with quirky shops. We appreciated the fact that it isn't on a highway and there's no big shopping centres.

Warburton was very nice but everything wasn’t open. The bakery was only takeaway and to be seated would have been nice.We ate at the Alpine Hotel and that was very nice with staff very pleasant and helpful. The pizza shop had a vast choice of pizzas which were very tasty. We went to Soumah winery for lunch for our anniversary . and the food was great as was the wine tasting.we went to upper yarra rsl for dinner and we were there on steak night. Food and staff were great.
I was pleasantly surprised, as the room was better than what was shown on-line. I was also pleased to have the room at the end of the walkway.
Prior to arriving, I received a courtesy call from Alan informing me about a minor change and notice of the change was also made available to me upon my arrival to the property. I was very content staying at Warburton Lodge and will recommend it to friends and stay there again, myself.
We stay here every time we visit Warburton. It has always been superb! It is just so cosy and comfortable and we love all the little touches that make your stay extra special, ie: breakfast provided, bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. It is also within walking distance to the shopping strip and dining options if you don't want to use your car. Thanks FMNC for another wonderful stay :)
Oscars on Yarra was a surprise for us! The facilities were clean and premises were well kept. The location is spectacular! I loved the deck area!! The host- Christine and her family were exceptional in accomodating our requests and in general beautiful human beings. I would highly recommend this hidden gem for those seeking an authentic experience of Warburton...this property delivers!!
There wasn't any breakfast. I didn't rate any staff as we didn't see any and that was alright, we didn't need to see anybody. The room was clean and suited our needs. I thought it was a little over priced for what was supplied, however I haven't stay at a Motel for quite some time so I really don't know the prices this day and age.
Lovely cottage style property that is only a quick drive to the town centre and site seeing/hiking places. Full of charm and the bed is very comfortable. Everything was clean and we can’t wait to come stay here again. PS the host was very caring and made sure we were comfortable, something missing from modern hotel stays.
Location was a quick drive into Warburton.
House was clean, spacious, with all facilities...full oven, full laundry, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms and lovely decking to sit on.
Was visited every morning by a baby kookaburra laughing at us from the decking rail
The location was beautiful and our room was very spacious with a nice view of the nature surrounding. Mona was lovely and very helpful. Very accessible by public transport and plenty of things to do in Warburton, the area is just beautiful.
Wonderful staff , so helpful caring and kind.
Location is great , the town of Warburton is lovely , on the River with excellent walks and places to eat .
Easy access to the mountains and wineries
Good Breakfast included .
The accomodation was beautiful! Fire place a bonus and the games supplied in the house were appreciated for children and adults alike! We wished we could have stayed longer as Warburton is such a lovely town
Fantastic host, Kim went beyond our expectations, helping with directions to places, and a general run down about Warburton. The facilities were great, and the breakfast provided was wonderful.
The rooms are quite spacious and the location is perfect with not too far from the shops but still surrounded by natural beauty. The staff was quite courteous. Ample onsite parking available.
The view was magnificent and location was excellent just a few minutes from shops and the river. It is a great house for family/groups with central living spaces and plenty of room.
Came via bike on Warburton Rail Trail so it's on a good location for that trip. Close to the end of the Rail Trail and quite close to the shops and restaurants.
Comfortable bed.
