The most confusing set up to access the property to the point that it never happened.
I have complained to Manager. LMTC. Sent request for refund to owner no responce for 8 weeks. I ended up booking the night with Sandcastles. Where do you ever access your room on foot through a locked gate with no map. Many references to sandcastles on only information given yet not owned by sandcastles . Privately owned. Many times, I found out in the morning from sandcastles reception, this has happened to other guests... this must stop. The instructions given must be clearer. I want a refund..

We provided our own breakfast and cooked our own dinner. The laneway to the beach was a great shortcut. The room was comfortable with an outdoor table overlooking the creek on the back patio.

We liked it as it was not crowded, our Sunset cabin was of a good quality with all facilities. Easy to get around and loved the beach as also no one around! Perfect couple of days and could have stayed longer. We will be back!

1770 itself is quiet and relaxing.
1770 itself is quiet and relaxing. Marina Cafe and bar in walking distance and a bar on the beach front. Lots of activities that can be booked. Highly recommend the Lady Musgrave day trip. A lovely cocktail bar at the marina which is really nice to sit at and watch the sunset.

The 1 hour LARC adventure tour was incredible.
The 1 hour LARC adventure tour was incredible. Our tour guide, Ant, was so knowledgeable and passionate about the environment. We will return to Seventeen Seventy so that we can do the7 hour tour. The Marina Cafe serves great coffee and breakfasts as well as one of the best vanilla slices ever eaten. The KBar is a must for an afternoon drink and to watch the sunset. The Rust Pelican does great fish and chips. The Captain Cook memorial and the Bustard lookout are a must see as was the paper bark trail. Just beautiful! We had a fantastic meal at Drift & Wood in at Agnes Water and sat and listened to the music.

Beautiful beaches.
Beautiful beaches. The Captain Cook Holiday Village is perfectly placed with easy access into Agnes Water & 1770. Town facilities are accessible & everyone was friendly & welcoming. There is plenty of non beach activities to do I.e camping, bush walking & 4WD. It’s definitely a place we will visit often.

The location: gold! Best way to enjoy 1770/Agnes Water. Walking distance from the marina, hotel and beach = forget about your car 90% of the time! We had a very good deal with Genius and by using the Visa booking partner program (type 'Visa booking.com' in Google) to get a $160 cashback. It makes the property very affordable! Oh, btw, the King Bed is a killer!
The views from the balcony were amazing and the sunsets were the best. Loved the hammock on the balcony although I think the kids spent more time in it than we did! The place has a tropical vibe and is a nice change from run of the mill apartments and hotels. Nicole was super lovely and very accomodating - a great host.
Very clean had everything you needed bed was comfortable and good views outdoor area and quiet even with the hotel next door 1770 is a magical place and all we needed to do was cross the road with a glass of wine to watch fantastic sunsets
The location was fantastic and close to everything, we went down the 4wd track to the secluded beach to watch the full moon rise and it was spectacular! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, it was a great holiday all around :)
We were moved quickly to a new cabin when we had issues with our original cabin. The bigger cabins are much cleaner and better size. The beds are okay. The staff were kind and very helpful when it came to the issue we had with our room.
Loved the cabin. Just what we wanted and opposite beach. Clean and tidy and all facilities. Hotel next door for food. Ideal. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Highly recommended.
Superb location, and a great cabin. Magnificent place to watch the sunset and next door to the hotel which does excellent meals. Next time we will stay for longer!
