Torquay was a lovely beach side town . A great place to start to follow the great ocean road and visit the other towns along the way .while taking in the breath taking views of the coast line . Cliffs faces right on the beach . Also visit , port Campbell, a small beach side town. Worth a visit.

Torquay is a delightful holiday destination with a great surfing beach, vibrant shopping centre with shops, cafes and restaurants. We found the Torquay Hotel a particularly nice venue to eat as a family.

Torquay’s old shopping centre has some fabulous quirky shops and there are a wonderful selection of quality eateries, including Roku Den (Japanese with style) and Mortadelli (1950’s 1960’s vibe authentic Italian where they make their own pasta and the coffee and biscotti are exceptional

I love the sea and find the ocean re-invigorating.

I love the sea and find the ocean re-invigorating. The people are friendly and there some great places to run along the coastline as well as restaurants to dine out at. I shopped for local products which I enjoyed and picked up some nice little gifts. The holiday enabled my two dogs to travel with me and my friend so that our family had a nice break. It made my winter seem a little more cheerful as I don't enjoy the cold but managed to paddle in the ocean with Peppy and Tom. Thank you for the opportunity to get away.

Squires Loft is a great restaurant especially if you like steak. Point Impossible is the most beautiful beach in Torquay. It is clothing optional so there are not a lot of kids and the beach is pretty quiet although there are a few male perverts that are creepy. We went to 2 coffee shops that weren't great. I will take my own coffee machine next time. One of the fish & chip shops near woolies was closed on Wednesday night which I found strange. Another one in Bell St was open but the chips weren't good. It is a guessing game to figure out which take away shops are open, their website will say the shop is open when it isn't. The bars close early and you will struggle to find an open bar after 9.30pm. It can be hard to find parking at peak times.

Torquay is a great destination and in my opinion one of the nicest towns along the surf coast. The town centre is pleasant to walk around, and the vibe is great - plenty of choice for foodies with a plethora of fantastic restaurants. I was here for 3 days on business but made sure I fitted in some leisure time and can't wait to return.

Michael is a great host and took care of our wellbeing, the location of his house is amazing, a quiet area which is perfect to relax but also close to a shopping mall and the beach. The house is spacious and very well set up and decorated, we felt like at home. The area of Torquay is beautiful area to relax and shut down, great hiking locations and an amazing beach. We highly recommend staying at Michael's house as well as in the Torquay area. Looking forward going back there.

Perfect location right next to the beach, we had one of the surfside cabins so it was a 20 second walk away from the surf beach, good value for money, also close to the pub and some other nice cafes and restaurants. Most other shops in Torquay are within walking distance or a short drive from the caravan park. Cabins are small but clean and have pretty much everything you need. Couch was comfy. Overall a great option for family holidays, but also for groups of friends

Great caravan park. Lots of accommodation options. Would love to stay in one of the glamping tents. We ( family x4 with teenagers) stayed in one of the older style cabins as we booked very last minute. Cabin was definitely well used but extremely clean and had everything we needed. Very impressed! Terrific location, kids able to head to the beach, less than 5 minute walk. Great options for lunch and dinner outside the park. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We loved the restaurant/Bar and cafe. There is an extensive cocktail menu and they're all so delicious. Try the buffalo wings they're amazing! The outdoor pool is heated really well and the rooms and apartments are served every day just like a hotel. The hot chocolate they provide in the room is really good!

lots of family board games, dvds, toys for babies and toddler too. there are even two surfing boards and sand play toys. So close to beach, and surf points, it only takes about 2-3minutes walk. and so many cafes around the house. it’s a great place to stay for holiday.

This property is great. I did not realize how big it was on booking. It would be great for meeting up at the beach with extended family. There are lots of different spaces to hang out, board games, patios…it was a homey place. I would come back if given the chance.
