The room was very spacious, with a large spare bed on which to put our suitcases, adequate cooking facilities for our overnighter, lots of room to put toiletries in the bathroom, comfortable lounge and bed. We couldn't fault the place. Keyless entry was great.

Lovely historic town. I came for the marathon this trip and only stayed the weekend. Have been before many years ago and was reminded what a terrific place Ballarat is. I'll be staying longer next time

It has many good places to eat, all reasonably priced, from coffee shops, up market restaurants and good pub bistro food. A wonderful city with history, family experiences and a great lake surrounded by trees, play equipment and restaurants. Lots of experiences for families to enjoy especially the Eureka Discovery Centre , Sovereign Hill settlement and the Aura night show, Art Museum and Avenue of Honour. The city also has excellent restaurants and hotels to choose from for families or couples.
