A little service town with all you need, IGA, cafe, petrol, butcher and distillery.
Farmers market and a small drive to the popular Eumundi markets- worth a look.
Town is a little Further away from Noosa Heads than we thought with current delays with road works.

We were delighted with the house!
We were delighted with the house! It is indeed "gorgeous", and was exactly what we wanted for a family get-together. The rooms were very comfortable; the kitchen very well equipped. The large veranda allowed us to enjoy sunshine and shade as required. The pool was only used by one of our party - just so he could say he used it! But that was because we were there in cooler weather. It was nice and clean.
We did have a wrong code for the key box, but the caretaker/manager sorted that out, and even paid us an on-the-spot visit.
There was a problem with the barbecue due to no fault of the owner/caretaker, but it was swiftly sorted.
We weren't there to go "touring", we did visit the village a couple of times which is very nice, and the local IGA had all that we needed for food. We went to Eumundi Markets, which is very crowded. Other than that we enjoyed our leisure at the house.
All of us - 10 folk, from 15 to 80 - loved the house and had a marvellous time. Very grateful and very pleased!!
Note - one bedroom is downstairs, which worked okay for us, but may be a problem for anyone with difficulty handling stairs.

Pomona is a beautiful, relaxed town if you're wanting a change from the bustling Noosa Heads and Noosaville. The towns in the Sunshine Coast hinterland are just gorgeous, with stunning plant life.

Fabulous coffee at Trail 518.
Fabulous coffee at Trail 518. It also catered for vegan and gluten free with the most amazing cakes and slices. The Pomonix gin brewery is a must. Try the paddle of gin selections. The hiking tracks are wonderful with a mix of creek crossings and well marked trails. The hike up Mt Cooroora was challenging but a must do. The view from the top was breathtaking. Take plenty of water and good sturdy shoes. Pomona was a delughtful surprise.
