What a find. A home away from home. Clean. So well equipped all one could need and more. Surprised ourselves how central it was…walk out the door and adequate shopping facilities virtually across the road. Chocolate and fresh flowers appreciated

Port Elliot is a lovely coastal village with Horseshoe Bay being central to it. There are small cafes and 2 Pubs which are very good. I am perhaps biased as I have been coming here for close on 60 years.

until one remembers their easy to remember street names .There are lots of bakeries with their usual good choices and adjoining seating for coffies and cakes to be enjoyed with good company !

Pt Elliot a lovely town with good facilities and nice eateries. The beaches are clean and great for early morning walks and watching surfers (perhaps tides too strong for young children).
Good walking/bike trails for the energetic.
Good place to stay with Goolwa on one side and Victor Harbor on the other. Great wineries in easy reach.

Easy to find The Strand just off the main road by famous Port Elliot Bakery, don't mind the queue as the food is delicious.
Stroll up the Strand to find shops, eateries and the Port Elliot Hotel.
Great coastal walk to Horseshoe Bay with spectacular views along the coast to Victor Harbour.
The location was excellent: near to the beach, the market and cafes, hotels, restaurants and shops.
The house was extremely well equipped with lots of crockery, glassware, cutlery, utensils; in short everything necessary in a kitchen. There is a good-sized refrigerator and complete laundry facilities. The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms are sparkling clean and one has a lovely deep bath. Big kitchen, dining, family area and a good-sized back garden. Gorgeous Christmas decorations!
Clean, modern, great location and everything you could need provided to make perfect stay. Firepit great addition for the winter stay - welcome bottle of wine and bag of wood very much appreciated. Just park your car and you can walk everywhere including all of Port Elliotts amazing beaches. Retro vibe best breakfast in town.
It is facing a very nice beach, the view on 2nd floor is spectacular. All cookwares are well prepared, you could cook anything with all the gears. It is 10mins walk from the Port Elliot steam train station and the Port Elliot hotel.
The location is fantastic as it is only a short walk to Boomer Beach. It's close to everything in Port Elliot. The home is very spacious and comfortable. The best part is that it is pet friendly.
The retreat was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for the two nights. Would definitely recommend this rural retreat to anyone wanting to visit the Port Elliot/Victor Harbor area.
Great value accommodation, for exploring Port Elliot and the surrounding area. The property was clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly. The view from the Family Room was wonderful.
The location is only a stone's throw from the bakery and everything else we could need or want in Port Elliot. Our hosts were friendly, patient and helpful. The house and clean and lovely!
it was quiet and the area was close to beautiful Horseshoe Bay and provided easy walking access to the beach and walks along the coastline. Five minutes drive to shops in Port Elliot.
The house was really lovely. A real beachy feel to it. Nice garden with a great veranda/deck. Port Elliott is beautiful and with lunch at The Flying Fish topped it all off
