Winda Woppa is a secret location and a gem to find only 2 hours north from Central Coast NSW. It has many activities available for beach goers or fishing on the west side of the peninsula. Bring along your push bike as there are great roads to ride along very flat and safe. There are a few local shops just in Hawkes Nest such as IGA supermarket, coffee shops and other little places that you may require to purchase items from. There is also a large Coles and Service Station back in Tea Gardens only 5-10 min back across the bridge. The view from Winda Woppa peninsula looks back toward Shoal Bay and Nelsons Bay and if you have a boat you could travel there or catch the local Ferry from Tea Gardens marina. If you want to surf then head towards Bennetts Beach / Hawkes Nest, or if you have a 4wd obtain day pass and drive upto Little Gibber. The passes can be purchased from the newsagency or the Tourist Information Centre.
