1770 Beach Accommodation is a family owned and operated business run by Richard and Jo, who took the plunge and took this business over in December 2023, after falling in love with the area on various holidays to the beautiful Agnes Water & 1770. We specialise in holiday property letting and are a buyer's advocate for Agnes Water & 1770. We hope that our guests fall in love with the area the way we did, and will always want to return.

Property information

Sunset Villa gives you a front row seat to beautiful bay views of 1770 and spectacular sunsets. Only 50 metres to the parklands along the gorgeous Foreshore’s boardwalk. There are numerous beautiful beaches to explore, swim, snorkel, kayak and laze around on all day, with BBQ pagodas and children’s play areas. The driveway up to the property is steep and twisty, unfortunately it does not accommodate boat parking. There is no Wi-Fi available at this property. Please note that Vodafone does not operate in the area and that other mobile networks can be limited/patchy in Agnes Water & 1770. Given the location of the house and the flora and fauna around the property, it is possible that some wildlife (bugs, lizards, frogs, birds) may frequent on the verandah and in garden areas. Up to two pets are welcome, please get in touch. Please note the property is unfenced.

Agnes Water, QLD is surrounded by National Parks, pristine waterways and long stretches of unspoiled beaches which front onto the Coral Sea. Approximately 8 kilometres away is the neighbouring town of 1770, a gorgeous, historic place where Captain Cook landed all those years ago. Along the headlands of 1770, visitors are offered amazing panoramic views across Bustard Bay, the estuary & creeks. We enjoy an excellent year-round climate with Queensland’s northernmost surf beach at Agnes Water for surfing and beach activities. Along the Bay at 1770 you can walk along the parklands and enjoy kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. It is a short walk to the variety of cafes & boutique shops in the Agnes Water shopping Village or walk down to the beautiful Agnes Water surf beach for a leisurely day along the water. A vibrant Sunday market takes place every second weekend.
