Vg large room with view of pool plus mini bar . Though only draw back vein g a rather useless hairdryer screwed to wall and a button to make it work, not so easy with arthritic fingers. Everything else better than expected. Pool good decent size one coujd actually swim lengths in . Restaurant quiet but food good and area quiet low key plus easy to have good walk Ali the river to the town. . Very comfortable and nice quiet small cosy rural town. A lot of fruit growing

There are a number of good places to visit that cover history - Gwoonwardu Mia, Carnarvon Space & Technology Museum and the Heritage Precinct.
Be aware that quite a few things are not open on Sundays including the visitors centre.
Found the Fruit Loop a bit of a disappointment - maybe because it was Sunday?
The private cactus garden on the Fruit Loop is well worth the donation to be able to walk through and photograph.
Currently the town is a little nervous due to crime - the takeaway we went to locked up after we left as they were on their own that day and didn't feel safe - that was around 7pm.

Carnarvon was nice to walk along the waterfront and we ate at the bakery which was fresh and had a great range.
We stopped in at Quobba blow holes and it was the perfect swell so the were exceptional, had a bonus of whales playing right at the edge.

If you are travelling for a holiday one full day is enough.
If you are travelling for a holiday one full day is enough. There are a few places to eat all close to the town centre. Fresh seafood was available but you had to have somewhere to cook it yourself and I think it was only open weekdays. The mile long jetty is still not repaired so you cannot walk it, you get a view through a hole in the wall that stops you accessing the jetty. There is a Wollies supermarket and shops to get most things you need when travelling.

Carnarvon is full of all kinds of things to do.
Carnarvon is full of all kinds of things to do. Space museum, beautiful foreshore and water holes around the Gascoyne River. Very underrated destination - shame we only ever stop on our way through to Exmouth.
Clean, modern, spacious, lovely setting. Host Michelle was lovely - we arrived after an 8hr travel from Karajini, on a Monday, which we were unaware is a “dry” day in Carnarvon (bottle shops closed). Michelle very kindly gifted us two bottles of wine. She was also very prompt responding to little queries about the house and brought us two airers for the washing - unfortunately the washing machine spin cycle was broken and the newly ordered machine didn’t arrive during our stay.
Location was perfect!! Everything was close and we decided to extend extra night. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I would like to give special credit to the French housekeeping girl who was always friendly, polite and always happy. She gave me some good recommendations on things to do and extra amenities and towels for our room was no problem and happy to help. A real asset to he hotel. Thank you!!
Great little house, much bigger than anticipated. Very comfy rooms. Awesome TV with Netflix, Disney + etc was a nice surprise. Clean kitchen with Nespresso pods was a nice touch. Undercover parking was good too. Would definitely stay again if up in Carnarvon. Very responsive host and helpful with acess etc.
Is pet friendly with a great dog beach across the road. Has a lovely old time beach shack feel to it with everything that you need. Quiet location not too far from town. The on-site owners are lovely and very helpful. Glad I found this little gem. Will definitely stay again when next in Carnarvon.
Spacious clean room. Outside table and chairs. Quiet off the road. Easy walk to the centre and other restaurants. Hot Stones Restaurant at hotel good - food and service. Locals come to the restaurantwhich is a good sign. WiFi and laundry both great.
Neat and clean although quite basic donga rooms, had all the facilities you would need. Camp kitchen looked great if you wished to cook for yourself, although we had pizza at the Norwesta Cafe for dinner and it was fabulous! Best thing in Carnarvon!
It was fine for one night. The place has a bit of an 80s vibe about it, but it is Carnarvon at the end of the day. It did the job and the room was surprisingly big. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant and the staff were great.
The hotel was nice and quiet and the room was very clean. It does need a bit of a touch up but that said it is very comfortable.
Carnarvon is quite small and there is not much to do, but we were only passing through so no issue.
The rooms were well maintained, clean & value for money for the Carnarvon location. The shower was VG with loads of hot water & easy to adjust. Kitchen had everything to hand & in good condition. Bed was comfortable & fresh.
Excellent place to stay in Carnarvon. Well equipped kitchen, comfy little couch area. Lots of space to unpack the car if you’re bringing a few items home from Perth and heading further North.
Pleasant location and set up in the caravan park, friendly, helpful receptionist. Loved the privacy and the gardens, trees and amenities. Everything clean and available for our needs.
Location pretty central to Canarvon. Very basic and dated motel accommodation at the back of the pub. Very handy to the bar for beer. Served the purpose as a bed for the night.
Made an effort to make an older motel clean and tidy.
Food in restaurant was really good. Staff everywhere were excellent used washing machine and dryer clean and new.
