Walpole is located very close to some amazing sites and great scenery. The tree top walk was amazing and there are many places to experience nature. The town is very small and seems to close down at night, but it is still a great place to visit.

The treetop walk among the tall trees was simply amazing, and if you're there when they do a free guided tour along the ground trail (at 11 and 2 when I was there) be sure and go along. The other must-do is the WOW Wilderness Ecocruise in Walpole and Nornalup Inlets. It is not just a sightseeing boat trip - it's an education on everything Walpole and how Walpole has affected the World. Best lemon cake I've ever tasted, and most entertaining boat ride I've ever been on.

    We love Walpole.

We love Walpole. It is a friendly place, the local people make you feel welcome. The weekend markets is great and the tourist infomation bureau is extremely helpful. Although there are not a lot of places to eat those that are provide good food at a reasonable price. The pharmacy is extremely helpful and it is easy to get around walpole if you have a vehicle. It is close to Denmark and a day trip to Albany or to Pemeberton Manjimup is easy. The WOW ecocruise is a must do!! There are a lot of hiking and walking trails which are well worth doing.

We chose to stay there as near to the Tree Tops walk.

We chose to stay there as near to the Tree Tops walk. Walpole town close by, with and IGA, so we were able to buy some provisions for overnight, and use our kitchen to cook dinner. Tourist information staff in the town centre were particularly helpful.

Make sure the facility has power before you check-In.

Make sure the facility has power before you check-In. They won't refund when they can't provide what one booked & paid for. We found this place/staff to be dishonest & money-grabbing by keeping our payment even though they had no power & it was potentially a health risk for us to stay with the weather being wet & very cold. We couldn't see in the dark, no way of preparing a hot meal. No warm shower. No warm room & no warm bed available. One poor couple had to use their car headlights for the room access to feed their young one. That's very very wrong. These people should be investigated & removed from booking.com immediately. Bad attitude to guests. It's been a while now & we've communicated with them multiple times requesting our full refund & they've ignored us. Shame on you treetop walk-Walpole.

The Tree Top Walk & the Tingle Tree, Coalmine Bes, Peaceful Bay & The Marron Farm was excellent….the owner was so lovely & showed us around even though we didn’t ask her to. She is very passionate about their business 👍👌❤️They also have beautiful meals there, but we’d already had lunch at Denmark.

These Chalets are a hidden gem! Well maybe not so hidden as the previous reviews led us to this great spot and it didn't disappoint. We needed a spot near Walpole having done the Tree Walk and then due to do the Eco Tour the next day. If we could have, we would have stayed longer. It was everything we wanted as a family getaway. Super comfy beds, great layout and amazing outdoor experiences on our doorstep. If you can, stay for a week! Plenty to see and do in the region and at the Chalets. You and the kids won't regret it.

    - Spacious townhouse - Comfortable beds - Best location for sightseeing - Valley of the Giants was 20 minutes away, as was Conspicuous Cliff - Staff was very understanding when I had to postpone payment due to my credit card maxxing out - A quick note for future occupants to check your communications prior to arriving, as Google map leads you to the Hotel-Motel in front of Bayside Villa. We were driving around in confusion before I checked my messages and realise I was told the driveway to the Villa is located off Palmer Lane.

Booking last minute, I wasn't sure what to expect and there are not photos of the inside of the houses. The house was perfect, had everything, very clean and warm, amazing view waking up to kangaroos outside my door. Staff were amazing and very engaging assisting on where to go. Local pub, the Walpole motel around the corner did an amazing lamb shanks and locals were friendly. Definitely recommend staying here!

Our room was large and comfortable in all respects: bed, ensuite, privacy, cleanliness, room for everything. The hotel is close ie walking distance to cafes, restaurant, bakery, supermarket and tourist information. The pool was sparkling and enjpyed very much by children - the weather was probably a bit chilly for adults but safety required adult supervision of children.

Lots of space inside and around the property, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It was great having the table tennis, pool table, jigsaw puzzles and a good variety of DVD's for the one rainy day we had. Only a 10min drive into Walpole which has a well stocked IGA. Grant was a very welcoming and attentive host and we definitely hope to return one day.

This is a nice park with lots of shady camping options. The caravan park is near the water, but there are no views. Location near Walpole is very nice. Couple of suggestions: Lots of beautiful National Parks in the area. Take the Walpole eco-boot tour! If you arrive from the East, do your shopping in Denmark.

Nice motel with large, comfortable rooms and easy parking. Restaurant was convenient with good Indian food specials. nice hot water in the showers and all the amenities you would want from a motel (electric kettle, microwave, hair dryer, mini fridge). I liked that they offered a recycling bin also.

Great stay at a great place! Tree Top Walk was right on our way -- convenient to the Tingle Trees / Tree Top Walk we came to see. Our room was enormous, clean, and quiet; fast wifi and hot shower -- couldn't ask for more! We'll come again if we're ever back in the area!

Though an older motel, the room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the room was clean. Well located to the Treetop Walk at Valley of the Giants. Walpole is a SMALL country town so, understandably, not a lot on offer for meals.
