We were 3 families and even though you shared the accommodation each family had their separate space as well. Excellent facilities. Play park near accommodation. Enough space for kids to run and ride bikes. Farm feeling. Private.

Somebody visiting Down South often is good to explore small towns like Capel and Donnybrook.
Lunch at Briton Jones (Coughlan) winery was very special, lovely service as well.(except they haven’t done the change of names in all sites yet (on their road sign directions, website etc ) we found hard to get there.

This accommodation was excellent.
This accommodation was excellent. Very clean, beautiful surroundings, and comfortable with everything there that was mentioned online. The owner was very informative, and a very nice helpful lady. We loved our stay there and could have stayed a lot longer. We shall certainly return.

The home was clean and comfortable with all amenities needed for the break away. Spacious inside and out with stunning views of the ocean. Watching the dolphins playing in the sea was wonderful. The kids swam, ran on the beach (as did the dog), and fished.

Capel is a very pretty town this time of year.
Capel is a very pretty town this time of year. The locals were friendly and helpful. We had morning tea at the bakery, great coffee and cakes. The artwork on the buildings was beautiful to look at too. We're bringing the grandchildren down soon for a day trip as the park facilities are awesome for kids.

This place is right in the middle of town, easy walk to two coffee shops in the morning. It’s super clean and the town is quiet, nice to wall around and the people we walked past were all super friendly, so was our host. Great spot to base yourself and drive to other attractions near by. We drive to Gnomesville and Donnybrook , and Peppermint Beach for sunsets which is only 10 minutes away. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back and stay a few more nights just for a getaway from Perth and the humdrum of daily life. We walked to the river , found the troll, feed some local horses, hung out at the towns central space - massive playground skate park for kids, very clean town and awesome artwork/murals around to snap photos of. Highly recommend the coffee at the Fat birdie ( I think it was called). Bakery was closed when we went to it so maybe go early in the day.
