We booked the cheapest room, without balcony. When we arrived, we could not believe our eyes: it was LARGE, with a huge bed, and also a couch, lot of space in the room, large toilet, and an area for our cloths... and carpet around the bed.
coffee and tea machine in the room, free water, nice furniture, flat tv, high speed wireless internet, soft bad and so on. They changed our towels every day (OAU).
The breakfast is clearly that of a 4 star hotel, not just for 3 stars :) We have eaten at 5 star hotels that did not offer such a variety at breakfast!
Every day, there were 6 types of hot foods available; the cold ones were over 20 types... many vegetarian options were available, row vegan people also could find food, gluten-free food was also there, lactose-free and so on... I enjoyed the pineapple juice (they also had orange and apple and waters) and the cappuccino :) So, anyway, a delicious and abundant breakfast.
The staff at the reception were especially friendly. They give us details about the city and many more... i loved that they spoke our language! OAU.
I think there is some sort of floor heating, since the room was always hot :) The heating system might not have enough power during summer. The bathroom was especially hot, too hot i may say... and the ventilation in the bathroom could be improved :)
The hotel is located just 4 minutes walking distance from the Metro station. It was easy to carry the check-in luggage.
Regarding the price... of cours it is expensive, it is located in the center and they offer so many :)
When we return to Brusseles, we will try to check-in at The Scott again...

Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.
French and Dutch are city’s two official languages so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up on Grote Markt!
Don’t miss the famous bronze statue aptly named Manneken Pis or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussel's charm.
Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.
If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your Brussels trip.
My stay was 3 days. It is OK for a weeked breakoff but not enough to visit all attractions. My suggested stay would be one week of course in my situation knowing how and why to get to the spots that worth visiting. All of them worth. Thank you Brussel for my stay.

Food options are really good.
Food options are really good. Don't miss the Waffles, Fries & Belgian Beers. Average experience with site seeing as whole city is dug put with lots of construction work. Roads were not clean and garbage everywhere.

I was pleasantly surprised by how dirty Brussels is. I would avoid long walks outside the center during the dark hours of the day.
Nevertheless, the center of Brussels itself was nice and interesting. The metro was very accessible, convenient and cheap.

Such a varied city.
Such a varied city. Architecture, attractions, shopping, food, entertainment. So much to do and I never feel like I have enough time, unfortunately I also never have enough money. Brussels is expensive for the traveller/tourist unless you know your way around and know where to go for what you want.
This is a lovely place, perfectly comfortable and completely unpretentious. Nothing fancy but the ethos of the Institute is not about that anyway. Simple rooms over a garden of trees out the window. It's quiet and restful, and if you are happy to walk it isn't far from Brussels Centraal and so the museums, Grand Place, etc. (If not, there is a bus stop around the corner and Madou metro station up the street). It was a third cheaper than the best of the cheaper hotels I could find for the same dates. I would stay there again.
It is a lovely hotel. Room size was smaller then expected but it was enough for our needs. We have booked extra spa service (full body massage) and it was divine. We have also used pool facilities which were great, especially that their was barely any people in it. Breakfast was OK, simple but everything was fresh and it was enough for us. Hotel is located about 15 min walk down the hill to the city center which was manageable. I would def recommend this hotel for a stay in Brussels.
I have already been severall times in this hotel, it is so close to Brussels central raiwaystation and city center.
The accomodations are very good and very good breakfast. But this time i want to thank the staff for given service, we came back from usa with nightflight, 30 hours no sleep, and i had asked for early check in. We arrived at 11.30pm at hotel and the room was ready, so we could take immediately some sleep. Great service !!!
Nice hotel with an interesting design in Brussels. Very comfortable room. The size is good for two people. The furniture is new. Room equipped with a kettle and safe. The main advantage is location. Hotel located 5 min by walk from the underground station (the same line as the Train station and Mini Europe Park). 20 min by walk from city center and main historical places. 10 min by walk from fashion boutique street, restaurants, and cafes.
The location of the hotel is excellent. It's just a few meters from the fabulous Saint-Hubert Galleries, so it is practically in the city center. The hotel has a beautiful and cozy lobby, where you can comfortably sit (and even work) with complimentary coffee and free Wifi. The room was not big but sufficient for two people. It was sparkly clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brussels.
The team was very nice and helpful. The location is Ok, only 15 minutes walk from ‘grand place’. The area itself where the hotel
Is located, is not the best, but is OK. We liked very much the parking which was offered by the hotel so our car could be parked safely (it was 31/12/23 when we were there, so lots of people in Brussels and there were some fireworks in the street, luckily this stopped after 1.30 pm).
City center walking distance to various tourist attractions. Polite and professional staff, clean and tidy double-bed room, and spacious leisure area for tourists to relax and take rest. A wide range of restaurants and supermarkets near around the hotel. Also, the paid laundry room for backpackers, A reasonable price for the Aparthotel in Brussels city center.
the property is nicely setup between common spaces and rooms. our room’s layout was spacious. the breakfast room is well arranged and the continental breakfast is nicely done with an addition of Japanese dishes
the hotel is not far from Brussels North train station and not far from the city center, PLUS the parking facility is convenient.
The location is fantastic. What more do you need? It is very easy to go by underground directly to Schuman and EU-district from near Hotel City Center. And You are very near the North railway station with trains to Brussels airport. See!? The elevator is good. Appreciate this too. The termosthat device works. Useful!
this hotel is probably one of the reasons I fell in love with Brussels, the location is amazing just a few steps from the train station and a few steps from the grand place and the heart of the city, the staff were amazing and accommodating, loved the room and it’s view
Everything was great, the hotel staff was friendly and receptive to our demands. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel also has an interesting story. The location was not far away from the city center and was safe compared to other Brussels zones.
Strategic location where it is only few km both to the airport and the city center.
Bus stop located right in front of the hotel.
Hotel located in small township where restaurant, convenient store and Carrefour are within walking distance.
A good hotel, quiet and clean.. the lady at the reception was very welcoming and helpful, Nice location in the northern part of Brussels, shops and restaurants all around. A 20 minutes walk to La Grand Place that feels like 2 minutes..
Hotel Le Châtelain was located in a lovely and bustling neighbourhood of Brussels. It's a short walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. You could walk to the city center, but public transport is available. The room was standard.
Very nice, friendly and helpful personnel. Quite spacious rooms. Hotel is next to the train station Brussels Noordstation, 2 min walk. 10-15 minute relaxed walk from the city center. Also very close to the Metro station.
The location of the hotel is great - 10 mins walk from Brussels Noord station and 10-15 mins walk from the city center!
The room was nice and big, as well as the bed and the bathroom.
The facilities were beyond what we hoped for, i highly recommend booking this hotel. It is perfectly located in Brussels city center, the staff are very welcoming and helpful.
Best location, 200 m from Brussels central station, 100m to Grand place, surrounded with shops and restaurants. Have a coffee shop and breakfast at hotel ground floor.
