Plenty of historical places. Some good restaurants.
Plenty of historical places. Some good restaurants. Friendly people. Excellent food. Tricky currency exchange, especially £. Check at least five different banks in order to get right rate. Do not hire a taxi at the main bus station. Taxi at the main bus station is under control of local crooks-drivers. Always get taxi via phone. It is very cheap and safe. Apart from central Grodno there is not much to see. Two-three days maximum stay.

Great views and amazing people.
Great views and amazing people. The main attractions are approachable on foot. I was also assured by the locals that there are some great discos at the weekend (База and Галактика are supposedly the best). There are however only few restaurants and not so many shops. I also do not recommend the city zoo. It is generally small, there are only few species and they are hold in tight cages.BartoszPoland - 10Scored 10

Very hospitable people, city small enough to see everything in 2 days. Almost everything in walking distance. Nice churches, old and new castles, Orzeszkova's house. Great food - Bolshoy Buffet. a great place! Nice prices.

Grodno is a little gem in Western Belarus. A very compact city with beautiful churches, nice parks, old castles, and even an old synagogue! It's a perfect destination for a weekend if you happen to be in the country or nearby (Poland, Lithuania)AAnonymousItaly

Apartment is small but decent for a couple or a single traveller, all the amenities are there, bed is comfy. Host is very kind and will explain you everything you need to have a look in Grodno city. 10 out of 10, definitely worth the money. Great value for a short stay

Administrators and all other staff are kind and nice and always ready to help. It was really relaxing time and a good vacation!
