As soon as we walked in and found ourselves looking at the centre garden.it gave the place a tranquil atmosphere. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant. The following day we had an early morning flight unfortunately the mobile phone provider that we visited in person didn't recharge it properly with our funds.we would have missed our plane if it wasn't for their shuttle bus driver. We had to return our hire car without GPS to the airport. He said follow me. We followed. We made our flight. What a wonderful man. Forever grateful. Thankyou ✈️☺️

Absolutely Nothing even the room was dirty and old furniture. No enough soup and shampoo for family of six . Only available 4 towels (3 big & 1 small ) very bad experience.

Down-to-Earth City Bordering Toronto
Mississauga is the site of Toronto Pearson Airport, so many visitors to the Ontario capital pass through without even realising. Once a Toronto suburb on the shores of Lake Ontario, Sauga (as it’s affectionately called) is now a city in its own right, though it’s not immediately obvious where one ends and the other begins.
Both have in common the broad horizon of nothing but water on one side and a skyscraper-dominated skyline on the other. The most iconic structures are the curvy Absolute World towers, said to resemble Marilyn Monroe. Over the road is one of Canada’s largest shopping centres: Square One.
More stores are in Sherway Gardens Mall near Toronto Golf Club, just one of many within Mississauga. There is also a staggering number of parks, including some lining the Credit River which enters the lake by Port Credit historic village, home to lots of cafés, restaurants and bars. Salmon migrate up the river, so fishing is popular.
The fact that this was once agricultural land inspired the design of the civic centre, overlooking the Living Arts Centre and the Art Gallery of Mississauga across Celebration Square.
Booking.com’s Mississauga accommodation options include hotels by the convention centre, apartment complexes with hot tubs, and cheap motel deals near the Hershey Centre.

Like most Canadian cities and towns Mississauga is clean and not overcrowded and noisy. Traffic was quite tolerable and the restaurants we ate in offered terrific, delicious food. My personal favorite was a Korean spot that had great fried chicken , etc.

The facility was clean and presentable, the staff was courteous and friendly as well but unfortunately our room wasn’t well prepared.
We had 6 guests stay 2 of the bed were put together with the last one (pull out bed) had no sheets, blankets pillow etc ready. We understand it’s not ideal to have such amenities laying around but not to have them in the room at all and then travel back to the concierge was inconvenient. Regularly something of this nature isn’t a matter to review about but they didn’t even have all the amenities needed on hand. So we were short blankets and pillows for 2 guests.
Best Western Hotels are usually Top notch service providers but this location did not reach that level.

Was not happy when the kitchen tap leaked down the counter to the floor causing a big puddle and guy try to fix it by banging on it when it clearly needed a whole new faucet. I washed dishes in bathroom sink before going to new room that had a disgusting tub that we had to put a towel in to step in to shower. When I asked to check out late was told I had to pay $60 after already being ripped off for this horrible place. I would not recommend not to mention the bugs.

This area of Toronto to me is only going to YYZ.
This area of Toronto to me is only going to YYZ. The great thing about it is the Up Express train, that is direct from Pearson to DT Toronto stopping lastly at Union Station. More stops and locations are being added in near future.
Thx for looking after a stranded traveler from Nashville …….Air Canada canceled my connection

I would stay here again!
Number one - ALL the staff are friendly and appear to enjoy their job.
Number two - the front desk who checked me in (I apologize for not remembering your name) gave such excellent information….best place to get gas, where to park in Toronto for the CN Tower, how to use the subway from the hotel…the list goes on ❤️
The rooms, the breakfast, the other amenities- top notch
Very clean spacious rooms with free coffee and teas. Free water and further coffee and tea available at reception and the breakfast was really good! Location was perfect- close to the airport and very easy to get into toronto (free hotel shuttle to terminal 1 and then the UP train to union station). Reception staff were so friendly and helpful and assisted us with booking a trip to niagara falls.
First and foremost, the hotel staff was absolutely wonderful. This included the staff at the reception, the housekeeping staff as well as the staff in charge of the breakfast. Overall, the staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel itself was also very nice and clean. It is located near Toronto's Pearson airport and it also provides free shuttle rides to and from the airport.
The staff was terrific - friendly, accommodating and very pleasant to deal with throughout the stay to a person. The location right off the QEW was convenient, but there is not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel that can be reached easily on foot (very busy roads) - a car is essential, but this is true for the Toronto suburbs in general - thing are plentiful but far apart.
The hotel saved my soul, when the weather and airline trashed my return home. The staff was amazing, helpful, and friendly. Thankfully they had a dental care kit, which was greatly appreciated so I could stand to put my mask back on for the continuation of my flight home! Considering I avoid Toronto as much as possible, the Alt hotel at the airport was a great place to stay.
It was OK for an overnight stay. Booked it because it was one of the most reasonable near airport. Staff were friendly. Used restaurant on my departure stay from Canada & the host was extremely friendly, & service was good. Food was acceptable when you are hungry. Location near a subway restaurant might have been a better choice of where to eat, & more reasonable.
I love the room, it has different lamp options (warm and white). The staff is amazing from the cleaning personnel all the way up to the front desk and the restaurant staff, which offers amazing food for great and fair prices. The hotel also offers an amazing and convenient shuttle service. So I totally recommend this place to anyone in Toronto.
1. Close proximity to the airport and other places I visited.
2. Clean environment for a 3* hotel. I wasn't sure if the restroom ventilation was working or not, but I couldn't hear any sound.
3. Accessibility to transport to and from the airport and around Toronto.
4. Good reception office staff.
beds were comfy , clean room , clean bathroom , hotel is quite and there are a lot of restaurants and places to go within 5minutes driving.
the gas station next to the hotel was quite usefull to hit the road quickly.
If you avoid rush hour , you can be in toronto downtown in 30minutes
The Toronto Sheraton Gateway Hotel is very nicely decorated and it looks like it has been done recently. There was no mini bar/fridge in the room which was not a problem for me as there is a place to buy food in the restaurant. The food at the restaurant was delicious.
This hotel is extremely convenient for flights to/from Toronto Pearson airport. It is a very short walk from the train station and a 5 minute train journey to the airport terminals. The restaurant is open late and there is a self-service snack store open at any hour.
This hotel has excellent location so you can arrive on the UP train from downtown Toronto and travel to the gates at Pearson airport on foot. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. It is a great idea to stay here if you have an early morning flight.
Quiet location, facility was clean, staff were great, we had a nice size larger room, other reviews mentioned dirty carpet all carpeted hotels in Canada are dirt they should change to tile or click. Mall across the street had many restaurants .
It was a very nice healthy breakfast every morning. Hotel across the street from terminal 3 which made it easy to purchase a presto card for transportation to and from downtown Toronto. Very easy to navigate with bus and subways
The essentials were good, clean place, good bed, functional room with place to work, internet, friendly staff. Half hourly shuttle to airport which takes 8 minutes or so. Not exactly cheap but OK price for Toronto standards.
We love the pool and water slide. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. There are some nice restaurants nearby. And just a short drive to Toronto!
