The location is excellent, overlooking lake Thun, in a quiet street. Some beautiful walks start directly at the doorstep. There is a small washing machine and a well-equipped kitchen. Monika and Claus are friendly hosts as well.

We liked the friendliness of the hosts, the bathroom, well...
We liked the friendliness of the hosts, the bathroom, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and rural atmosphere. We ate at several of the nearby restaurants with lakeside dining. We did not have a car but it was easy to get to the location by bus #60 from the Spiez train station. All in all it was a great place to stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

Very pretty place but not much to do apart from a few restaurants and a Church. Good if you want somewhere slightly out of nearby Spiez, which is easily accessible or as an effective overnight stop when hiking. Probably not so much to recommend it as a destination per se.

The view towards Thunersee and Niederhorn mountain is not forgettable one. The swimming place is right nearby the property and one can chill in fresh Thunersee water easily. A lot of activities could be found in nearby village of Faulensee or next picturesque town of Spiez. The rooms condition is pretty good, the breakfast was quite fine as well and stuff is very friendly and ready to help for any request. I would definitely recommend to visit the place!

There is a nice walking trail right along the lake for exploring from the hotel. The room was cozy and the bathroom shower adequate. The terrace restaurant had excellent fresh caught Perch! Absolutely delicious. We drove the Lauterbrunnen Valley from here and hiked and explored the Valley. Seen 6 major waterfalls,plus Trummelbach Falls. Then took the gondola up to Murren for lunch at Hotel Edelweiss for the most incrediable views and cheese fondue.

The location of the hotel is good, it is close to the bus top and form there you can go to Spiez and Interlaken. However, the bus doesn't pass in a good frequency.
