The location is amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We forgot to ask for a cot for our baby and they immediately got one in the bedroom. The onsite restaurant was also good. Breakfast was really good with several different options.

Absolutely brilliant. Hospitable staff, very helpful and friendly. The Hostel is spotlessly clean, facilities were great, well appointed bathrooms, kitchen and dining to enable us to be self sufficient, each room had a shelf allocated in the fridge also spotless as they clean 2 hours daily.
We enjoyed our room with balcony overlooking the mountain and waterfall, perfect at wine o'clock.

Excellent rail link from Interlaken and then access by train or cable car to various mountains. Whilst the village is quiet it has a coffee shop and a few other shops open during March, I'm sure many more in the Summer.

The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful.
The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful. Small town with a cliff on both sides. Very scenic. Murren and Shilthorn the Ski Attractions are accessible through Lauterbrunnen. Nice cosy hotels and wonderful food and friendly people is what Lauterbrunnen offers. Its very close to the wonderful town Wengen (20 min via train) which is at a Hill top opposite to Lauterbrunnen and connects to Jungfrau - The Top of Europe.
Lauterbrunnen is a must visit town if one is visiting Switzerland and wants to enjoy a very scenic and less crowded experience.

Lauterbrunnen is perfect if you prefer to be in a quiet and low key spot versus some of the larger towns in the area. It is basically one street but has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The train station services everything in the area, and also has a lift to Murren. There are plenty of cafes, a supermarket and sports equipment stores. It's a lovely village.

we love everything about the chalet, including the cat Wilson who lives in a barn nearby. It felt like home away from home, the chalet us cosy and well equipped with everything we need. We wish we can stay longer! We enjoyed the delightful walk with beautiful spring blooms along the path and cute cottages with the majestic mountain views. it’s like a dream comes true. Dave and Patricia are the best hosts we encountered in our whole time in Switzerland catering to our every needs. Highly appreciated and recommended.
Few things can beat seeing the biggest waterfall in Switzerland from your terrace. High quality materials, minimalist design, thoughtful lightning and one of the comfiest beds I ever slept on provides so much needed relaxation after a day of hiking and exploring the valley.
Additionally, we greatly appreciated hospitality of the personnel who did their best to accommodate our wishes.
Breakfast choice was nearly excellent, especially super crispy bacon.
Would love to come back again when it's less rainy :D
The staff at Hotel Oberland were absolutely wonderful throughout my stay. Upon arrival, Matheus was generous enough to carry my suitcase to my room while Mirka made sure I had food as it had been a long travel day. They provided me with excellent recommendations. My room was clean and had everything that I could have needed. My two dinners at the restaurant were phenomenal. I felt like family from the moment I entered the hotel.
So many things! The location is absolutely amazing, with a splendid view of the Lauterbrunnen valley and the waterfalls. We were greeted by Lillian who made our trip so much better by giving us recommandations on what to visit during our stay. The rooms were comfy, although a double bed would have been better than two twins. The fascilities are shared as it's a hostel, but they were clean and practical. Will come again for sure!
The hotel must have one of the best views in all of Lauterbrunnen, it was truly breathtaking.
Bathroom was clean, enough towels were provided for all of us and changed regularly.
Fans were also provided since the temperatures were peak high, and they helped a lot.
The breakfast buffet was simple and nice with an equally amazing view.
Hotel staff was very friendly, especially Tristan at the reception, really well spoken.
Location, room was spacious, beds were comfy. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was so good with loads of options. They provided us everything we needed. And very clean place. View from room was unbelievable. The owner of this hotel is a very friendly guy. I stayed in a few hotels recently in UK, FRANCE, AND Switzerland but this is the best place.
The location is perfect! Three minute walk from the train station in Wengen. The apartment has a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains, it is very comfortable and spacious! Perfect for families! Very easy check-in, check-out process. Definitely recommend it for anybody coming to this beautiful part of Switzerland.
Definitely the coolest apartment I've ever stayed in! You absolutely can't beat the view and you really couldn't ask for better hosts. The apartment was clean and had everything you needed (coffee, tea, extra towels, extra blankets, etc.). I would absolutely recommend staying here for your Switzerland adventures!
We loved our stay here, the staff were amazing and helped us out a lot with places to visit and what train schedule to take. The views were beautiful from our window and we had so much fun at the bar and met some really cool people. If we ever come back to Switzerland we will definitely be staying here again. 😃
I could see Stauback Falls from my room, and there was a balcony. We spent a lot of time on the balcony, looking at real Switzerland, the green grass, the brown calves, the peace and quiet. Wonderful!
there’s an elevator. There’s a restaurant downstairs. The town is small. It’s easy to walk.
The Valley Hostel is perfectly located in the center Lauterbrunnen. The accommodation is basic but functional. You have to make your own bed but it is a good measure to keep prices low.
The view from the balcony is breathtaking!
It is also very helpful that the hostel has its own carpark.
Angie is such a lovely host, and her apartment is exceptional! It was perfect for our family during our stay in Switzerland. The location is wonderful, and the views can’t be beat! The place is spacious and clean, the kitchen has everything you’ll need.
We loved our stay in Hornerpub. The room was quiet and with a window with views of the town (we did not get a view of the waterfall but some rooms do). Excellent value for money as the hotels and Airbnbs in Lauterbrunnen are way more expensive.
Fantastic view from our room of the waterfall and the valley. Hotel is not modern but old school in a good way. Staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations for hikes in the local area. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
The staff was friendly. There was a detailed tour at check-in to show guests the different facilities. There is a nice lounge on the ground floor with a hammock to unwind in. Really good value for a touristy town in Switzerland!
The hotel has a very beautiful terrace and garden with views of the Sraubach waterfall and the glaciers on the mountains. Very convenient to the station. Will stay here again if we return to Lauterbrunnen
Great location, near train station and cable car station to Murren.
The room is clean and comfortable.
