We were stunned & delighted with the extensive Roman excavations & displays of artifacts in the museum. Also delighted with the Rodin/ Giacometti / classic car exhibition. Again delighted with the Da Vinci display which was as good as that in the Washington Smithsonian!

Lovely city; lots of shops and boutiques; lots of art and cultural activities including great impressionist museum, Roman ruins, castle and Barryland (traditional St. Bernard dogs museum). Tourist Info center very helpful.
Excellent breakfast and dinner (Michelin Star Food), with exceptionally nice and helpful staff, plus spacious, very clean, comfortable beds and perfectly designed rooms. As an overall this is perfect hotel for both short and long business or family trips. The hotel is nicely located within walking distance from the centre of the lovely town of Martigny and the famous St Bernard dog and benefits from amazing 360 degrees views of the surrounding mountains.
Location, clean, friendly staff, breakfast. Just a stone throw away from the train station, this basic hotel meets all our needs for an overnight stay (initial plan); Lea was helpful and empathetic when we had to book a 2nd night (due to unforeseen circumstances) after we have checked-out from the first night. Dinner on The 7th Floor and breakfast on ground floor were fine.
i love the view when i wake up! the garden in front is so beautiful... thick snow!
Kitchen appliances are so fully equipped.
I love everything about this hotel! room is so warm and perfect! thanks for the nice coffee packets.
even though i didn't meet the host, i communicate with him through whatsapp. he is very helpful and friendly.
The people in this family-owned hotel / restaurant were exceptionally friendly and helpful. For example, when the owner learned that we were going to the Fondation Gianadda, she gave us a limited-offer 50% discount card. We ate very well in the hotel restaurant – and we didn't even have the "menu dégustation".
The hotel reminded me of US hotels built in 60's or 70's, with big rooms and a big parking lot. It is not in the center of town so we used taxis when first arriving by train and thereafter frequent local bus 201. We could walk easily to the Old Town section, though, where we had dinner twice.
As vegans we are always weary when we stay at a small place (or even bigger hotel) about our breakfast choices. The host at the Villa was great and went out of his way to ensure we had an amazing experience with our breakfast. We are very thankful for his throughtfulness.
Breakfast was very good- lots of choices and great coffee. Rooms were clean, especially the bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. Hotel was close to supermarket and restaurants. Loved the view from the fifth floor.
The food, both breakfast and dinner, was superb. The coffee was excellent and the staff super helpful.
Excellent location for walking down to bars and restaurants and nice cobbled streets.
We used the hotel as a base for hiking nearby.
We were welcomed by a nice receptionist that was really motivated by his work. Otherwise nothing really positive about the stay in this hotel. It's not that it is so bad, it's more so hold that you don't want to stay there
The hotel surprised us very positive. Nice, modern and with nice and helpful staff. We only stopped over night on the way to Italy but will definitely try this hotel for a few days if we are in the area again
The hotel was easy to find and well placed for continuing our journey to Italy. It has a large car park, and a good restaurant and the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.
Great hotel, nicely decorated and excellent breakfast. We were particularly impressed by the inclusiveness associated with social projects. Congratulations!
