This is a wonderful town. It is particularly wonderful on a clear day. I would recommend the boat-trip on the lake at sunset. There are lots of travel agencies that offer full-day tours in the region. I did one called Huilo-Huilo and it was absolutely great!ChrismateFrance - 8.0Scored 8.0

Town is small enough to go around by walking. Lots of restaurants and bars. Dining in restaurants is not cheap. Beach is nice and clean, sand is very rough though. Sandals or shoes are recommended to use. Water is bright and clear. View is nice with mountains and lake.

A lovely spot but a culture shock after you have been in the wild areas of Patagonia. Very, very busy when we were there, parking is difficult. If you like fast food, plenty of noise and watching people you will love it. Personally I couldn't wait to get out

The whole hostel is very clean, including the shared bathrooms and the kitchen. You have anything you need to cook, and a lovely garden to enjoy your meal or chill in the sun. The hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood but close to everything by walk (supermarket, bus station, city center and lake). The family whose run the hostal is absolutely lovely. I had stopped by for a craft fair months earlier and didn't even realize that on the same property there was a hotel. The rooms were very comfortable with a simple yet bohemian chic decor. There turquoise accents and wood paneling were a lovely touch throughout. And the breakfast -- phenomenal! Better than what I had a nearby restaurants, at a great price. An incredible value all around. I would stay there again.
