The property itself is very decent value for your money, but what made our stay exceptional was the english speaking concierge George. He brought our experience to a new level as he always knew the best activities for any given weather and day. He knows every attraction around the place and will secure you better prices than you can get anywhere else. If you want to do anything special like a boat trip, he is somehow able to arrange things within minutes. I would book the hotel again any day to have an exceptional concierge like him.

We loved this homestay: as we stayed 3 nights, we were upgraded and we got the chance to stay in the best room (spacious, calm and comfortable). The breakfast and the dinner were plentiful and very tasty (our host Mary is a great cook). The location is just perfect if you want to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park with Hallelujah Avatar Mountains (300m from the entrance).. Besides, our host speaks english and knows perfectly the Park.. not only she helped us to prepare our visit (tickets, maps and route), but she also helped us when we were lost..
Overall, we felt at home.. Mary, her little puppy and our driver made our stay unforgettable..

Amazing stay with very warm & attentive hospitality provided by the team managing the residence. Breakfast was wholesome and great. Rooms are lovely and clean. Special mention to 管家小黄, who went above & beyond in ensuring our stay is comfortable, catering to our respective special requirements / needs (diet requests, mobility restrictions, etc.) and sharing with us an experience on tea appreciation.

The staff of the hotel is friendly and guests get daily water bottles and drinks refilled. The bed was abnormally big, so I rather had more room for luggage. The hotel location is really close to the entrance of National Forest Park. To the busier shopping streets, you need to walk 25-30 min, but taxis are really affordable.

I just went ot Zhangjiajie Greate Canyon and buy Type A
Walk on the glass brigde + VR + Zipline
Before I going out the building to Glassbridge I book ticket for Bungee Jump 260m. It's the highest bungee point in the world now (20/1/2024) amazing expirence of mind. I can see around the canyon, VR is woderful , Zipline is Safe and bueatiful sight seeing, then I slide my body down to lower floor, it was fun like I'm back to be teenage. there is many activities. but if you can walk out after 17:00 you should book taxi to pick up you back to downtown.
Tianmen Mountain was bueatiful , but last time was heavy snow so I can't see the view from top of the mountain. in my 3rd time to travel this place. March - April is the best time to visit.

You should plan to stay a minimum of 5 days in Zhangjiajie.
You should plan to stay a minimum of 5 days in Zhangjiajie. Day 1 should be spent going to Tianmen Mountain - stay in the Hamptons by Hilton Hotel right across the street from the cable car ticket. Day 2 go to the east side of the park and stay at least 2 nights. One day can be spent visiting the Glass Bridge, Grand Canyon, and if time the cave. Day 3 go to the northeastern side of Zhangjiajie Park. Take the bus to the 2nd stop and then hike up (don't take the little train unless you want to) and then continue about 4 km up stairs to the top of the mountain. Come down by cable car and then bus back to the east gate entrance. Day 4 can be spent bussing and hiking 7.5 km along the river inside the park to the western side. Stay the night just outside the park on the western gate. Day 5 can be spent visiting the north western portion of the park by bus, cable car and hiking down to the river (avoid the elevator if possible) and then hike along the river back out of the park. Day 6 visit the southern portion of the park by taking the trail to the yellow village in the mountain. Hike up or cable car, and then hike down or cable car down.

A must see place in China!
A must see place in China! So much to do everyday in the park or you can just relax and enjoy the fresh air. Dos: The cable car to the top peak is well worth it, half the peak is empty if you want some great views and photos as most of the crowd is at the five fingers. Don'ts: Glass elevator, not worth in my opinion as it's a short ride up and not many look out spots at the top.

oh my God, how to start, I could say that Zhangjiajie was one of the best place I ever been. I am a nature lover, and if you are like me, there is a AMAZING place to be, all the hiking that I've done there worthy a lot. many breathtaking views.
This beautiful hotel is beautiful and location is perfect for National park and Glass bridge. you can take a walk to the Park from river near hotel. The room is large and clean. Manager Matt spoke excellent English and fantastic knowledge of the area, which is super helpful for our trip in Zhangjiajie. The team helped us get tickets (Glass Bridge , The Park) that we need to make our trip easier. There have a big supermarket to get supplements very easy. We have a great time in here. Highly recommended and Book it now!
The location is best, very close to Park Entrance without crowded.where is super easy to get in for the park by few minutes walk. The hotel was located very near the mountain forest attraction. Breakfast provided was really delicious. The room is so spacious with beatiful mountain view. The staff and owner were friendly , helped buy our all entrance tickets that we wanted for Zhangjiajie trip, and we felt really well taken care of. I'll definitely be back again!
Nice boutique hotel with very helpful owner and staff. The modern Chinese style of the decoration is simple and beautiful. Very good Chinese breakfast. The owner was very helpful, answering all of our queries very quickly. He even accepted to prepare our breakfast at 6am the day we had to leave. Hotel located 500m from one of the entries of the National Park, the owner can drop you there. Definitely recommend.
Checking in and out were smooth. The guy there was very helpful and ready to answer all questions to make our trip enjoyable. As it was really cold during my visit, they also provided an electric heater (in addition to the air conditioner heater) to help make the room warmer.
The location is really close to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, bus stops and bus stations, as well as restaurants and shops.
The boss is very good, after booking to send information to the hotel boss specially send SMS reminder, also added wechat sent me the positioning, very convenient, location is very easy to find, the distance from Tianmen Mountain park is particularly close, ten minutes to walk, and we booked a discount tickets, let us save a lot of time to queue, I will recommend friends back here.
The hospitality of Ming and his family are outstanding. Extremely friendly and helpful for your stay in Wulingyuan. He gave us detailed information about the national park and good restaurants nearby. And he speaks English.
The location of the guesthouse is in a small alley, next to the main street, so very convenient and quiet.
The room was huge, beds were comfy and clean
Clean and spacious double room, great value for the room rate. Location is just a 5 minute walk from the park entrance. Ralph is a great host and can boom tickets for the national park. Further, he organized luggage transfer to the airport for me to make sure I didn’t have to come back to Wulingyuan after taking a day trip by train from Zhangjiajie.
My 1st visit to Zhang Jia Jie and the lady Carol has helped me so much giving me practical advice from the day I booked til the day I am there. She was so welcoming and warmth. Highly recommended this hotel as it is so near the East Gate of National Park. I enjoy new and clean hotel and this Yoba Boutique Hotel made my vacation an awesome one.
The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to the Zhangjiajie park entrance but away from the bustle of Wulingyan town. Rooms were nicely decorated and spacious with views of the mountains. Staff was extremely kind and helpful, both in helping us find good hiking routes in the park and surprised me with a cake for by birthday!
Really lovely hotel with great facilities, and was very close to the national park. Peter made us feel very welcome and helped plan all of our trips, and this really made our stay. The hotel itself is lovely and in a quiet and peaceful location. We had a room with a massive jet bath, which was great after a day's hiking.
The location is really close to a food street, we got there at 11pm and the stalls are still open.
Even though the hotel is close to the food stalls, it is very quiet.
We got pick up from the airport even though we arrived at 10pm.
Tina gave really clear directions on how to visit Tianmen mountain and the National park
The hotel is located really close to the National Park. The area is calm and silent, a paradise to rest in the nature.
The staff was extremely caring and the front desk host gave us extensive explanations to plan our tours. We were impressed with their support.
Excellent cost-quality balance.
Had the best stay at Whispering Mountains! Lucas and his team are super welcoming and friendly and know everything there is to know about Zhangjiajie national park and the surrounding area! The connecting restaurant is delicious and the perfect way to start and end a big day of hiking!
The breakfast was okay. A lot of variety and the quality was solid. There was a noodle stand offering hot noodle soup which was quite good. I got a suite so it was roomy. The location is great facing the cable car station and with a lot of restaurants around the hotel.
The location is absolutely perfect, just minutes away from the magnificent National Forest Park. They can help us arranging the transfer and entrance tickets booking. The owner and staff try their best to made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay
Really convenient location not far from the entry of the national park and with very good restaurant near Wally House (recommended by Wally).
Wally gave us really good advice to visit the park 👌🏽🙏🏼
The location is awesome, no crowded, clean and cozy place. Robin was very friendly and helpful with planning the route about the National Park. We love everything and highly recommended!
