We recently spent two magical days and an overnight at Mama Yeya’s in San Cipriano - an enriching experience that our daughter shared with us. The proprietors, Dona Amalia and Don Victor, were gracious hosts, and Dona Amalia’s gourmet Pacific Coast cuisine was delectable and beautifully presented (we could hardly wait for our next meal)! The accommodations were well-appointed and tastefully decorated, and the bedding was very comfortable. Their son served as our guide for a hiking adventure to several waterfalls, followed by an inner-tube glide down a gentle and crystal clear river, where we were pleasantly surprised to encounter two sloths up close. It was an unforgettable experience at very good value. It was also very fun getting in to San Cipriano via a “Moto-Brujita” - a innovative form of transportation that makes use of an abandoned rail line that rivaled an amusement park ride! We highly recommend a stay at Mama Yeya’s!

Mama Yeya is an excellent place to relax away from the noise of the main town. The cabin was beautiful and spotless clean. The staff were very friendly at all times. The food was delicious! I recommend this place. We were able to leave our bags at the restaurant even before check in (which was very handy)! We thank Mama Yeya and her family for this experience!

Mama Yeya is a tremendous cook. Eat there every meal. The quality and value is great. The room is very nice. Luxury in a rain forest. And the service is top-notch. The location is across the river from the main town. This little buffer is good and bad. It gives you seclusion from the rest of the community, but it also takes a little effort to cross the river. This never was an issue for me. Any time we were ready to either go to the village or return, Mama Yeya's husband or adult children immediately came to transport us across the small river in their little canoe. And the river is so clean and beautiful! We planned to stay just 1 night but were so impressed that we decided to extend our stay. Highly recommended for a unique stay.

אחד המקומות הטובים שהייתי בו. מתחם משפחתי ובו 2 בקתות (השלישית כרגע בשלבי סיום). הבקתות בתוך גן / יער רחב ויש מרחב ופרטיות בין הבקתות. מעל הכל המאמא והמסעדה, אוכל מדהים, ברמה של מסעדת שף, אי אפשר לתאר כמה שטעים. הבן שלה לקח אותי למסלול טיול מעגלי שיוצא מהיער שלהם ומסתיים בשייט אבובים, מאוד מומלץ. אפשר גם לעשות טיול קצר ל 3 מפלים כחצי שעה מהכפר. חשוב להתאים ציפיות הכפר הזה נמצא ב"חצי ג'ונגל", לחות גבוהה, אתם בטבע, לקחת את זה בחשבון. הבקתה גדולה עם מקלחת ושירותים. אין מים חמים במקלחת וגם לא צריך כי חם מאוד, יש מאוורר וישנתי מצויין. אין קליטה סלולרית בכפר. וכאן בגסט האוס יש wifi, שאינו יציב, אבל הוא בסדר לוואצ'אפ. ההגעה למקום, כוללת חציה של הנהר, שזה בדיוק דקה. יש למשפחה סירה והם ישיטו אתכם מתי שתרצו. זה יתרון, כי המתחם מאוד שקט, לעומת הכפר. ממליץ בחום, משפחה מקסימה. היה קשה לעזוב את המקום ואת המאכלים המדהימים 🙏
