The room was very spacious. the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was good and plentiful and it is a buffet style and it is topped up quickly when anything runs low. there were 2 choices for payment of the buffet one includes just food and the next is food and all your wine and beer which is good value. There is also a swimming pool sauna and these were clean. We were a party of 16 and hired the bowling alley, it was 15 euros an hour so not much between us and it was great fun. The bus stop is at the bottom of the drive and the bus ride about 15 mins into Schmallenberg which has many shops, cafes and restaurants.CharlieUnited Kingdom

Breakfast was good, not a massive selection, but more than enough to give a good start to the the day. Lot's of hiking trails nearby, some are very easily accesible from the hotel. Nearest town is 10 mins away by car (Winterberg) and has anything you might need including skiing and other winter activities.

Restaurants and nice square with terraces in walking distance. The owners are very friendly and all kind of information about the area and it’s activities are available in the appartment, if needed the owner is very willing to give advice.
