Host was very responsive and easy to reach. Nice modern bathroom and tile shower. Great patio area and balconies off bedrooms. Kitchen facilities had everything you might want for a short stay. Blender, toaster, pots/pans, oven, stove. Great location. Very quite and peaceful neighborhood.

Fisherman's house under thatch in antique style with modern equipment. Location amidst the three parks: Hirschpark, Baurs Park and Rantzau estate, directly on the Elbe at the most beautiful Mühlenberg, the most pristine and most beautiful part of Blankenese. Our house is a 220 year old thatched cottage, which has been restored very extensive in recent years. It is in excellent condition and is characterized by beautiful fixtures, sitting areas with fireplace and library. From all rooms you have a beautiful Elbe view, so that the freighters and cruise giants drive almost directly through your garden. The cozy antique style with modern comfort will inspire you! To the house there is a fully developed gazebo with bar, cooking facilities and a private toilet! On top of that there is a sauna in the garden with a shower and integrated music system. The house leaves nothing to be desired and is a dream to escape the stress of everyday life and explore Hamburg by the way.The house offers a beautiful garden with patio, a fully developed gazebo and a separate sauna house! The city of Hamburg can be reached by bus, train, ferry or simply by bike.
I am 49 years old and I am a single raising father of two sons. I love motorcycles and offshore sailing as well as sailing my little laser on the Elbe!
Our fisherman's house is uniquely quiet in the middle of the three parks Hirschpark, Baurs Park and the private property of Rantzau, only about 100 meters away from the Elbe with a small beach right outside our door. The surroundings, the Mühlenberg, is a very original part of Blankenese and is characterized by very old Danish half-timbered and thatched cottages. In contrast to the actual Treppenviertel this part is particularly quiet and spacious, as there are many large gardens on a hillside.
