The stylish and modern ETH Rioja is conveniently located 2 km outside Haro, in Spain's celebrated wine region, La Rioja. The hotel offers a good restaurant with an impressive selection of local wines....
Originally a 14th-century convent, this beautiful, historic building now offers unique accommodation in the La Rioja region. Rooms are set around an impressive central lounge area with a glass roof.

It’s a really lovely and interesting hotel. The covered square in the centre with the large balconies around, make it quite special. The rooms are roomy and spacious for a short stay.

Location was superb. Famous wineries are within a stone's throw. I could enjoy tapas bar hopping in the town center, which is 10 minutes walk from the house. Super market is just around the corner, which was convenient.

It is a great space- a nice big living room with a huge television. The kitchen is small, but functional (and there’s a washing machine). The main bathroom is downstairs, with just a toilet/washbasin upstairs). The bedrooms, up a tight spiral staircase, are fine, but mind your head, as the ceilings slope downwards. Nice bedding, towels, etc. The building itself is modern and well-kept, and you have parking in a garage just underneath. It’s just a short walk to the centre of town, and a nice stroll out to the (excellent) bodegas. All you might need, then.

The centre of Haro is full of character and is generally buzzing with people at the cafes and bars in the evening. We were in Haro to visit vineyards and to have wine tastings, which are placed on the outskirts of the town. We visited a restaurant, "Beethoven", for the reknowned lamb, which was delicious. Haro is small enough to be able to see the whole town on foot and makes for an interesting trip.

One of my favorite town in Spain! Amazing scenery, great trekking routes around the wineries, wonderful wines, what else? It's a perfect base to explore the wine making country and worth visiting in four seasons :)

A lovely smart Rioja town.
A lovely smart Rioja town. Some fine old buildings cathedral and square.
Good variety of cafes bars and restaurants around.
The sister hotel ARROPE has a lovely garden for drinks and tapas across from the hotel Los Agostinos.
There are a ton of wine outlets to go to at the bottom of town and also off licences
You can do mini wine tours and courses in Haro too
Haro is very near the motorway AP68 so if travelling you are soon on your way it’s great for a stop over to and from the ferry ports to the UK

Haro is the most convenient place if you a Rioja wine lover as we are. All the big bodegas are in close proximity of each other and even smaller ones are not too far away. The amenities here are also excellent, with many really nice restaurants and bars.
The staff was exceptionally helpful, especially Nor. Great location, close to all Rioja area bodegas and wine destinations. Loved the vibe: clean, modern hotel that was very manageable; not a big "mega" American-style chain hotel. Especially enjoyed the outside terrace for wine and coffee; loved the vibe and fact that locals co.e by and enjoy it too. Will definitely recommend it to friends: great value and greT location. And staff.
Affordable, well-appointed apartment in old town Haro. Spotlessly clean and a comfy living room for curling up after a long day of sightseeing. Quiet, and the best shower in over 2 moths of travel! Free parking was easy to find and within easy walking distance. Bodegas are within easy walking distance for those interested in wine tours and tasting. Also a great location to explore the Rioja district.
TOTAL GEM!!! this apartment has everything you need for a couple of days in Haro. the communication with the management was open and very clear. I would definitely will stay again. I have shared this apt with my friends and have recommended it as well. to resume this review: I really like it, it was very clean, beautiful and very centric.
A fantastic place to explore Haro and La Rioja. Very central convenient location! Big, clean and comfortable. Such fantastic places can be found in Europe, although it is sometimes not so easy. But to meet such a helpful owner, responsive to every request, is a great experience. Don't wait, book and come here! We will be back for sure!
Great location, easy to walk around and explore Haro. The apartment is very nicely done with modern clean interiors and lots of space. We loved the wine barrel in the room and the complimentary wine in the fridge. The stay and the apartment was just delightful for our visit to Haro and the La Rioja wine region.
Great location in the heart of Haro.
Had some issues with the check in since booking messages was not available but it sorted out via WhatsApp at last. Self check in which was great and access to a shared kitchen. Bed was a bit quirky but for one night this was ok.
Wonderful location in Haro! I loved the bedrooms and kitchen. We were all very comfortable at the house. Check-in process was easy and I appreciated the host's availability. I will not hesitate to stay here again. A great place to stay in the center of Rioja.
Nice hotel, located a bit off the center. Friendly staff and great restaurant for dinner.
I was there in the Semana Santa (over Easter) and hence the parking situation in the town was tough - had to park a bit away, roughly 5min by foot.
We loved the swimming pool and the actual hotel was quaint but lacking in some atmosphere, we were staying on a Saturday night and there wasn't even background music or anywhere to lounge after our meal, we ended up returning to our room.
Great apartment, perfectly located in the centre of Haro. 2 minutes walking distance to all restaurants/bars etc. Free public parking. Well equipped with all facilities. Two small balconies where you can sit outside.
Very nice appartement in the middle (only a few metres from the main square) of Haro.
The appartement was modern, well equipped and very clean.
No keys necessary, entrance via app. is a bit unusual.
Stunning converted historic building in centre of Haro. Staff found somewhere for us to store our bicycles. Well appointed large rooms. Excellent breakfast. Atmospheric covered central courtyard
good place to stay in La Rioja, good location close to the centre, nice, comfortable room and well-equipped kitchen available, nice stuff ready to help
