Everything. Location, comfort, value for money, the food OMG, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had but most of all it was the staff that made me feel comfortable and right at home straight away. Some places have it, most don’t and I find it comes from the top down. If the boss looks after their staff they will look after you. If this is a little bit of a splurge on your Camino I encourage you to make it. You won’t regret it. 10/10

Friendly staff and welcome. Nice room with comfortable bed. Good lunch. Breakfast was waitress service with hams, cheese and toast. Lovely old mill with central area for relaxing then accessing the rooms. Take a concrete road off the camino to Extebarria rather than longer route via Markina and back.

Wonderfully rustic and with a beautiful rural position 2 km from the Basque coastline and within easy reach of San Sebastian. This hotel has a charming restaurant and spacious bedrooms with balconies....

It is a rural accommodation so we had dinner and breakfast at the property which was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the room had everything we needed.

It was lovely. Perfect stop for us on the Camino. The host was lovely and it was not too long of a walk outside of Markina-Xemein. It was very cosy with good kitchen facilities and lovely sunset view over the mountains :) Note: You just have to be careful if you are walking from Markina-Xemein as you must walk on the side of the road. But most cars weren’t going to fast and we walked to Markina-Xemein early Sunday morning so there were very few cars
