Are you looking for something different? A unique stay in the middle of nature? Finca Fahala is a small-scale glampsite with personal attention for every guest. The finca is located near Cartama, 20 car minutes from Malaga and the airport. Enjoy the peace and quiet of a natural enviroment while close to the delightful city of Malaga. Stay in a stylishly decorated bell tent, an original Mongolian yurt or a wooden cabin. Around the pool are several lounge areas where you can chill. The entire finca is very colorful and has a Bohemian touch. Each accommodation is self-contained with it´s own cooking facilities and fridge. Breakfast is optional. There is an honesty bar for the thirsty ones. There is a showerblock for common use. Apart from chilling in and around the swimming pool there is also the possibility to play table tennis or badminton.
We, the (Dutch) inhabitants of Finca Fahala, are Lex and Floortje with daughters Elise and Rosalie. Other inhabitants are Caña and Nala, our two dogs. Caña, a Spanish "we dont know what kind she is" dog, surely wants your attention, just for a belly rub. Our latest addition, Nala is still young and very playfull. Occasionally Lotje, a very lazy Spanish cat, might cross your path. Or cat-brother and sister Ada & Coo can be seen chasing insects in the grass. Between the many daily jobs at the Finca, Lex loves to play guitar and Floortje designes and makes jewelry. for her shop and is also hooked on crochet, therefore you will find many crocheted decorations around the finca. Elise and Rosalie both finished their studies in Málaga (computer sience/software engeneer and illustrator) and both have their jobs, but still live happily with us on the finca.
Finca Fahala is located in a subtropical area, 5 minutes by car to the authentic Spanish town of Cartama and 15 minutes from Malaga. Whether you come for the beaches, for the beautiful cities or for the magnificent nature, it's all easily accessible by car. Attractions such as the Lakes of Ardales, the jagged rocks of El Torcal or the waterfalls of Barranco Blanco can be reached by car in just 15 minutes to 1,5 hours. The beaches are 15 to 30 minutes by car. Also cities such as Granada, Cordoba and Seville are good for a day trip. We always love to share our knowledge of the surroundings with our guests so having a day without inspiration, just ask us and hopefully we can inspire you!
