Exquisite house near the Roman bridge in Caldas. The facilities were outstanding . Our private room on the floor had a terrace which accessed a beautiful garden and swimming pool which is lovingly tended to by the owner. A wonderful stay.

Very clean, peaceful motel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent and quick room service . The owner gave us a lift in the morning from the motel to the town centre with his own car.

It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque.
It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque. Nice parks to walk around, plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's small so easy to get around by walking. Did not partake of the hot springs but this town definitely famous for them.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.
Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

Caldas de Reis is a regular stop-over on the Camino Portuguese. The main square with palm trees is lovely. There are cafes and you can sit there have coffee and enjoy, I only made a one night stop so can't really say much more.

We only stayed in Caldas de Reis as we were walking the Camino Portugese. We saw lots of things that'd been nice to further explore if we'd had a couple of days there....river, historic buildings etc.LisaUnited States

Our room overlooked the plaza so it was a nice view. The cafes, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance along with the churches. The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. We paid for breakfast the next morning and there was plenty of food to start us on the Camino - eggs, bacon, bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, pastries, etc. The hotel was a perfect one night stop.ReneeUnited States

Without any doubt, the highlight of the stay were Sito and Maria. Both were super nice: Sito was very fun and he even drove me to do some sight sightseeing near the house. Maria cooked an amazing dinner and breakfast and drove me back to Caldas in the morning to continue with my Camino. Too bad I came a bit late and could not enjoy properly the massive garden...
