It’s a beautiful town with a lovely port, castle and old town. Easily walkable. Excellent good scene - so much choice and things got all budgets.
Parking can be difficult on the town side but there is plenty by the ferry terminal.
There are plenty of walks from the town - to the mountains and by the coast.
Tram/train to Benidorm and beyond which is a good day out

Denia is a fantastic place to stay.
Denia is a fantastic place to stay. It has everything the discerning traveller needs from fine dining to takeaway sandwiches. It is very Spanish and you will find a lot of Spanish holiday makers there in the summer months but it never seems too busy. There is plenty to see and do and the castle is worth a visit. The Jamaica Inn is a must see a bar that is over 400 years old and Fuegos is a fantastic steak house! The beaches are long and clean and the sea in September is like walking into a luke warm bath. There is so much to see and make time for a visit to the old town lots of restaurants to enjoy!

We like Denia, the Marina's, the Port, the Old Town, the town itself,
We lived there for so many years.
Nowhere is the same since the Pandemic, It left a certain sadness everywhere, on the streets, in restaurents & bars, and indeed all over our world!

A very welcoming hotel with a courteous and professional team. The breakfast has superb fresh fruit, fresh juice, crusty bread and great coffee and is just the right size. The location is excellent, a very short walk from a terrific rocky beach which is popular for snorkelling. The restaurants nearby are excellent, but so is the food in the hotel for which non residents book tables. Walking into Denia takes around 30 minutes, but there is a bus every hour and taxis are inexpensive.
I'm going to be honest. I loved the hotel, but it was the wrong choice for my type of visit. I booked the hotel because I needed a good place to work. Little did I know is that the restaurant next to the hotel is a bit too much fun ( and loud )
The staff is super friendly and understanding and the owner is clearly very involved in every day things. Everything is well maintained and there's a great eye for detail. I will definitely book again when I don't have to work!
I have seen a lot of hotel rooms as I am regularly traveling for business. This here, although holidays, was one of my best experiences as this is a family owned and perfectly driven hotel! The rooms are very clean and good (I had a superior double) and the dinners are very very good. This is also the reason why the daily menu is small but therefore you get home made and fresh ingredients! Just perfect! I will come back!
Although the apartment appeared smaller than expected from sq.m. size, but when you deduct balconies, designers did great job to make it still very convenient with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. the sea view is stunning as on pictures! plus for the good size of parking place - we used car a lot as the flat is min 15minutes drive from Denia citi center or nice beaches.
There is also a nice garden with pools kids just loved.
easy check-in and check-out
nice parking garage
super clean
comfy bed
good shower
super nice and helpful host
convenient location, within walking distance to the old town, Castell de Dénia, Mercado, shopping street, and restaurants.
The washing machine is very nice, it has a drying function.
There is a dishwasher in the kitchen, which is really nice.
We like a lot of things about this place.
This property is absolutely lovely. An older hotel with wonderful staff, facilities and grounds. Very quiet, clean and with old world charm. I hesitate to say more as too many people will book here and then there will not be a room left for me.
Such a nice change of pace from large hotel chains.
The hotel is in an excellent location in Denia and a short stroll to the town and marina . it’s an old building that has been beautifully restored and well deserves its 4 Star rating 😎. The staff are very attentive and would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Denia
Clean and spacious apartment, it has all you need and more! Private parking is a big plus, we were there in winter but can imagine that it's a bit busier in summer.
Very good value for money, I would definitely look if it's available next time I have to be in the Denia area!
Location was excellent, a few minutes walk to the beach and also two minutes walk to old town, with restaurants and shops. We flew to Alicante and took the tram to Denia. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Room was comfortable and quiet.
The hotel is beautiful with a lot of tasteful, charming personal touches ....it is clearly not part of a chain! It's pretty much on the beach, breakfast was very good, and the location - about 10 min by rental car to the Centre of Denia - was great for our purposes.
This is our third visit to Palau Verd, so we knew what to expect, and were not disappointed. It's become our "second home" when we want to have a small beach holiday in Denia. Great value, comfortable, great breakfast. Nothing to complain.
A lovely little hotel in the old town of Denia. This hotel is a real little gem, clean and comfortable and amazingly good value. We couldn’t fault it. We now live in Denia and will be sure to recommend this hotel to visitors and friends.
This hotel was perfect for us. I stayed a night in denia before travelling to ibiza. The location is perfect and I loved that I could bring my dog with me.
There is a dog beach about 10 min walk away which is also great.
The heating system was mal functioning. Tremendous continued nice and thermostat broken had our room over 29º C all night long. In Dénia the temperature at night was 16º C. The heat and noice did not allow us to sleep.
Very conveniently situated for Denia centre ports and the beaches.
Marina the Administration manager was very helpful not just regarding check in but also advice on local restaurants
Hope to return soon
