The historic buildings are outstanding, especially the Basilica, which I found myself visiting again and again. It's scale and grandeur are truly remarkable. There's a very large park which is beautiful and varied, and connected to the park is an extensive forest with nature trails.....great for walking adventures.
I'd recommend visiting in mid March as the city celebrates the french siege of 1808 with a spectacular reenactment in the streets.
The zaragozans are such nice friendly people and the evening city life is wonderful.
I've been to several Spanish cities and Zaragoza is my favourite.

Zaragoza is a beautiful city, but the strong and constant wind makes the place colder than it could be. It is not exactly a touristic city, but it is worth a short stay to visit Aljaferia and the wonderful churchs. The resataurant Flor de Liz in the old center was an incredible experience.

Zaragoza is a beautiful city with great history. 2 full days was PLENTY of time there I think. Be sure to buy tickets for the Aljafería Palace in advance if you want to see it. Also, if there are specific restaurants you want to try, be sure to make reservations ahead of time. I recommend el fuelle for the food and the experience.

There are some historic sights, like parts of Moorish palace, a cathedral, Roman ruins, art museum with Goya, historic and huge food market. Several famous and attractive buildings for churches, museums, to sum up. City very affordable, with many restaurants and markets near our hotel. Our favorite area was that area near the historic food market, near El Pilar church, around Hotel Catalonia El Pilar hotel and NH Hotel, among other hotels in that area.
Uber and other cab services are here. Buses and trams here close to our hotel but we have not used.
I have read, however, that summer is very hot, and we are here in late October and early November.

I visited Zaragoza to break up my trip from Barcelona to Madrid. I was intrigued by its abundance of Mudejar art and architecture and it did not disappoint! I loved walking through the city in search of all the Mudejar buildings and loved the Cathedral del Salvador de Zaragoza and the Iglesia de San Pablo. The Aljaferia Palace was also definitely a highlight! The Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar is one of the nicest Basilicas I have ever seen, as well.
I loved that it wasn't as busy or touristy as Barcelona and Madrid and it was an authentic Spanish experience away from the tourist traps of those two, big cities. I stayed for 3 nights but think that two full days or a weekend would have been ideal. It's extremely easy to get around the city, you can walk to everything and it's overall just a friendly, warm, nice place to stay. You can tell that they don't get as many tourists there because English is not commonly spoken, so knowing some common phrases might help during your visit.
All in all, I would highly recommend adding this city to your Spain list!

Great value for money
The hop on hop off bus was great to get around and see the more interesting places.
Suite Anna. Our stay was sweet!!
Loved the location! You are so close to all the sites that are must see in Zaragoza. Easy walk from the train station and totally walkable from here to go all over Zaragoza and along the river.
The apartment was exceptional! Fully equipped and so clean. We stayed three nights in December 2023. Loved our stay.
Communication was quick and easy as was check in with a lockbox.
Highly recommend.
And on a side note, take a Free City Tour with Alejandro. He’s AMAZING!
Zaragoza is a busy city and trying to find a place that allowed parking was going to be expensive and difficult to deal with. This hotel is very basic in an unappealing, industrial part of the city. But, it provides what budget conscious travelers with cars need - a safe, clean place with very friendly staff, super-clean, functional little cafe on the ground floor where the local workers come for a coffee and pastry. I was expecting much less for the money.
Lovely hotel in a great location in Zaragoza. Underground parking is very close to the hotel, in fact across the street. Our room was really large, super clean and great bathroom. Bed was really comfortable. The room was one of the ones that's been recently renovated. Self service, buffet style breakfast was great and all the communal areas were really well designed and clean.
Hotel is located very conveniently just off the motorway, perfect just for one night stop with the best car parking I saw in Spain. It has a restaurant with quite nice evening meal and very good breakfast. Room and bathroom are spacious and clean. There almost nothing to fault it. And as I said before, in the morning after breakfast you are back on the road in no time.
Staff Friendly. Clean facilities and room. Very large room with good air con. Cafe/Bar area with tapas and drinks. Restauarant area but didn't go into this Accepted pets for only additional €5. Like most motel style hotels we have stayed in so far in France/Spain there are no English speaingvt tv channels.
Super friendly and helpful staff and I love it that they're truly dog friendly. The dog fee is super reasonable, there's a place to walk the dog near the hotel and they even allowed me to take the dog to the restaurant. Maybe it's different during high season.
The hotel looks as good as the pictures and it's located on the best zone of the center of Zaragoza.
The hotel exceeded our expectations and the breakfast were delicious!
We went there to celebrate my birthday but we are planning our next stay yet.
Nice, clean room, friendly staff. The hotel parking has a very tight entrance, as well, the parking places are a bit narrow, this is quite normal for Spain, Italy, France as I noticed, if you have a large car you might have issues.
One of the best hotels I’ve already stayed in Spain. Everything was perfect. Contemporary interior design, location, staff and breakfast are the the highest points to highlight. I would definitely stay in the same place again.
A comfortable and modern hotel with a good bed that is great for a stop off when travelling through Spain by car. It is close to the autoroute on a business park. Very good value for an overnight stay if this is what you need.
Location is very good; the size of the room was ok too. The breakfast was very good; just maybe they need to have better coffee machines. I have enjoyed stying there and can do it if I ever return to Zaragoza
The location of this hotel, with parking, in the heart of the city was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
