The place is protected by a wall like many of the properties are so it felt very private and safe. Sophie greeted me and brought me back to ma petite chambre. She was very kind and engaging and, thankfully, spoke English. She explained how everything worked and about ordering breakfast, which appeared right outside my door in the morning. It was exactly as ordered and so lovely.
It turned out that Sophie had worked as a young woman in a town in Pennsylvania (where I am from) that I knew very well! That was a delightful small-world moment.
The place was clean; there were cups, utensils, a little kettle, and tea bags. The bathroom was tiny yet clean and had everything I needed.
There was a nice collection of maps for public transport routes and a list of restaurants in the area that offered delivery. Always helpful and appreciated. The WiFi was reliable. I had the wrong adapter, and Sophie kindly loaned me one. That was a crucial save.

Ease of access to transport, grocery store, parking spot. Ease of getting in, feeling safe, secure and cozy. We arrived after 8pm, Marion was waiting for us with the keys and instructions . It was a raining day. We unpacked and walked to grab items for breakfast for our stay. Marion was a great help to us when we had a challenge with the electric car!

Nice quite, safe area close to the uni of Bordeaux. Thanks to very good connections by public transport, the inner city of Bordeaux can be easily reached. There is a very beautiful park, and some simple, affordable restaurants close by. If you want something more special for dinner, just hop on the tram for a few minutes.

Newly renovated, clean, quiet, and with all the amenities, a great place to stay in the area. Talence is a little nice town outside of Bordeaux downtown, so you do need a.car or public transportation to get to the big city. Our host Sophie was always available for questions or concerns.
Ground floor apartment with easy access. Host was very helpful. We loved Talence bars and market place for eating at night. With a bicycle it was very easy to get to everything we wanted to see in Bordeaux. There was a lavery near by to do our washing and the Carrefour is very close.
