We liked the architecture and style. It had character. We liked the pool area and the terrace at the front with the view. It was good that tapas was available during the day. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Good sized room & excellent location ten minutes walk from the Roman Bridge & twenty from the Roman Sites & Museum. Very friendly welcome, and fluent English spoken, thank you Stephanie! Everywhere is very clean and the rooms are set in a large garden with scattered seating on lawns & shady parts of entrances. The swimming pool is a real bonus and we had it practically to ourselves. Can't comment on the bar, restaurant or breakfast as we skipped these to eat in Vaison itself. The bathroom was very roomy, the shower effective and we had hand towels as well as bath towels. All in all a most enjoyable two night stay. We would definitely return.

Villa Regina is located close to the downtown core of Vaison-la-Romaine, The room we had was a good size, with a equally functional bathroom. The owner was extremely helpful and in fact offered her garage as a place to park my our rental car. We spent a day wandering around Vaison-la-Romaine, which has Roman ruins and a very interesting old town. I recommend the town and if you are planning to visit, I highly recommend Villa Regina as a place to stay.

This village is beautiful and just the right size to explore. Loved the upper village and the old castle. It is surrounded by fields of grapes and many other small scenic villages. Would have liked more time to explore the surrounding villages and wineries.

After the impressive remains from the Roman empire, do not forget to fully explore the OLD CITY, the other side of (and above) the river. This is one of the most charming place I have ever seen. Many beautiful houses of 17 and 18 century. Each one has a garden. And the most extraordinary church - Ste Marie de l'Assomption - in the process of restauration, with vitrals offered by Giannada (Martigny, CH). Each lateral chapel of this very special cathedral is a marvel. The old wooden structures display an incredible range of shapes and colours. Let us hope that additional donors will soon restore the full splendor of this unique construction.

Vaison la Romaine is a charming town.
Vaison la Romaine is a charming town. The roman remains are not to be missed. The old town is also stunning. There is an excellent market and excellent shops selling local produce. The whole area is beautiful as there are stunning villages nearby, Villedieu has a lovely cafe where you can sit next to the fountain and watch the world go by. The area also has outstanding wines. All in all, it's a prefect area to visit.

Vaison la romaine for me is the perfect village with a little bit of everything. Old town and roman ruins all within walking of the main "modern" village. Plenty of restaurants to choose from to meet most dietary requirements. A mixture of typical provencal tourist shops and regular everyday shops. A terrific spot to base cycling or hiking holidays from with routes easily accessible.

Perfect location, only 2 kms from all attractions in Vaison La Romaine, a wonderful place, full with roman theaters and villas, as well as an incredible old city, the other side of the Roman Bridge. Verveines de Vaison offers simple and well kept rooms with all necessary amenities. A colourful garden surrounds the house. Complete silence at night. And verveine smells good everywhere. I strongly recommend this accomodation.
The hosts (Liliane and Alain) were friendly and welcoming. We loved our evening barbecues on the terrace in the evening sun surrounded by the Cote du Rhône vineyards. The gite is perfectly situated for exploring the famous Cote du Rhône villages, the charming town of Vaison la Romaine, the Dentelles and Orange. The gite is well equipped and comfortable, perfect for a couple.
The hotel is on the corner of the main square of the newer side of Vaison la Romaine, near free parking by the Travel Information office, and close to Roman ruins. The square is charming, centrally located, with many restaurants in the vicinity. There is an ice cream/gelato shop just outside the entrance. We did not have the breakfast as it was 12 euros per person.
We were very pleased with our visit to Vaison-la-Romaine. The apartment was clean and cozy. We didn’t want to eat out so it was perfect since the kitchen has all appliances and there’s a store just 50 meters from the apartment. You are on the border of the centre (200m) and parking is free in the street. The hosts were kind and helpful. Thanks for the pleasant stay!
Beautiful hotel in the medieval part of Vaison. The view from the bar terrace is spectacular. Upon request we had one dinner there instead of in the restaurant (which has a terrace in an open space inside the hotel). The food is good, but rather expensive compared to other places. The room was spacious, and had a small kitchenette. Small but nice pool.
It was one of the best places we ever stayed. Family of owners made us feel like a good friends. Virginie is fantastic bread maker and perfect hostess! The house is perfectly located near Vaison-la-Romaine, and it was easy for us to use hiking trails and recommended wineries. We already wishing to come back and stay there longer in future! Thank you!
We were on a 5 day bicycle tour starting and ending in Vaison La Romaine. The rooms were super nice. We had one on the ground floor. Simply beautiful. And big enough to fit our two bicycles in. Really great location - right at the foot of the old town. Also parking very close by. Left our van there for the whole week while were toured around.
Stayed there with Nicholas O'Connell's Writer's Workshop. What a great venue for that occasion! We enjoyed meeting by the pool or on the front patio, enjoying the view. We had several delicious meals at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed the breakfast each day.
Amazing place and a wonderful host who creates a fantastic atmosphere. You really feel at home here. Nice room, great breakfast and a good pool.
Vaison la Romaine is also a great town to visit with many interesting sights in short reach.
To be recommended.
the hotel is located in an amazing part of town and it’s really cute and clean! the owner is really kind and helpful with some suggestions of where to eat and what to do around town! we will definitely go back next time when we travel to France!

A Charming facility very spacious room and bathroom lovely pool in the backyard and particularly friendly and helpful staff. This was one of the nicest places we stayed in our 8 days in France.
The building was old with great character, but had a modern bathroom. The location was very close to everything we needed. They had available
