Fantastic location overlooking the valley and pretty Cotswold countryside. It was also a few minutes walk from Minchinhampton Common. Lots of character inside, as it's a very Old Inn. The food was great. We ate there every evening. The Sunday roast was one of the best I've had in a long time. 7 different vege and the meat was so tender it fell apart. Very friendly, helpful staff. Small shop and cafe across the road inside the church. Free public parking opposite hotel was ideal, but did get full at certain times during the day, especially afternoons when it was used by mums collecting children from school and dog walkers heading to the common.

The Amberley Restaurant offers a menu specialising in freshly caught fish, with other local produce also used. The bar serves light meals and traditional afternoon teas. The first-floor meeting room is flooded with natural light and overlooks the Cotswolds.
