very nice country location which was very quiet especially in winter very nice area to walk around and explore., not far from the main port of st peters port which had a very busy night life and shopping area. the weather was not so good but not cold for the time of year.

If you enjoy peace and tranquility, this is the place to stay. Very well located and served by good transport links. Sufficient shops and only minutes away from St Peter Port the capital. We ate at the hotel most of the time and can recommend it.You won’t be disappointed. A wonderful choice of food awaits.

St Martin is a beautiful area.

St Martin is a beautiful area. Really good bus services across the island or would recommend e-bikes for getting around (helpful for getting up the steep slopes from the bays!) I wouldn’t recommend driving - Some very small rural lanes and lack of parking at points of interest.

    It was idyllic!

It was idyllic! We loved the quiet location of our hotel, and it's grounds. The lovely little country lanes and perfect beaches were wonderful although I can see how negotiating them by car would be more stressful!. Def a walkers and bikers paradise. The beach "kiosks" were amazing..definitely not what English people would expect..more of a good sized catering establishment, just that the seating is usually all outside. With the weather we had that was not a problem...more an absolute delight!

Superb beaches all within very easy reach (closest was 20 minutes walk through the forest). Buses are only £1.25 for any journey or any length so very easy to get around without car - and there are a lot of buses so you rarely had to wait longer than 15 minutes. St Peter Port is just 20 minutes away max on the bus. You can get a ferry to Sark from St Peter Port - we paid £19.50 return, but you need to book at least a day ahead online. Guernsey folks are very friendly. When we arrived the bus dropped us off at the wrong place, but someone heard our dilemma and drove us to where we were staying about a mile away.

Great for coastal walks, quiet area, lots of lanes to walk to village, plenty hotels to eat walking distance. Bus service to St Peters Port and other areas good. Taxi book in advance for airport or dinner.

Spotlessly clean with good quality bedding, shower etc. We were reliant on public transport and there was a bus stop within 5 minutes walk of the accommodation. The heated pool was a lovely bonus. I'm not a regular swimmer but my pre-breakfast swims really set me up for the day. Everything was well thought out and beautifully maintained. Exceeded expectations and we'd certainly stay again. Much nicer than a hotel as you can come and go as you please (a bonus if the weather lets you down) and it's great value for what you get.

The Saints Bay hotel is a wonderful little hotel on the, as the same suggests, Saint's bay. It is very close to a few beautiful cliff walks, and accessible by busses that take you directly to the town centre. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. They cooked us free dinner when we got late coming down to grab dinner ourselves, and also volunteered to drop us to the airport when we realised the cabs are all booked out. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Seems like the hotel has gone downhill sadly. Staff were polite and attentive but standards were low- reception unmanned a lot of the time, very dirty outside area and reception area. Bedroom 1 had no air con and was boiling, bedroom 2 had aircon which was a big box in room and very noisy. For the price we paid, we could have stayed at central 5 star hotel for not much more money. Laundry was also just left out in hallway for a couple of days, didn’t look nice.

Warm welcome and good, friendly service. The restaurant was good value for dinner and the breakfast was included in the price very good with plenty of hot and cold choices! Oh, and very nice coffee! The owner works at the hotel, rather than a manager, and that makes all the difference! The room was freshly decorated, clean and all the bedding and pillows were in new condition. Large bath, plenty of hot water... What more could I ask for?

Impeccably clean. Large bedroom, plenty of hanging and drawer space. Effective en-suite shower. Delicious breakfasts - on 2 of 7 mornings, self service from pre-cooked English breakfast, otherwise extensive choice by order. Excellent hostess in Celeste, who clearly works extremely hard to maintain excellent standards. Hotel well placed to explore island. Bus at end of road. Parking at hotel readily available.

Sad Restaurant not open Mon Tues. Code to entrance door not working . Key to room door difficult. . We couldn't find the number to ring for coffee. No staff available on leaving so couldn't pay bill. Paid later directly to your bank . A list of small points which suggest more detailed management is needed . Having said this we liked the hotel and the staff we did meet and hope to return. Truly . Alan cox

Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice & prompt table service, by friendly staff. Quiet hotel location with good on site parking, good local walks to bays & cliff footpaths, as well as a convenient bus stop for trips to town. Pool, gym & sauna really appreciated. At the end of the day, an evening restaurant with specials and good choice of menu, with a comfortable scenic lounge, if required.

Loved the size of the room and very clean/tidy. Staff were very helpful and we enjoyed all meals in the hotel, particularly the breakfast. We also enjoyed sitting in the beer garden. Hotel in an ideal location, close to Fermain beach and coastal path leading to St. Peters Port. Views along coastal path are stunning. Would recommend to friends and family.

The staff in the restaurant accommodated us when we arrived later in the evening without a reservation. Not realizing we must have a reservation, we were in a bind. The location of the hotel is more remote, and many of the restaurants and other eating establishments were closed in town. And the bonus? The food was exceptional!!

Jonathan and the staff were very friendly. The bus stop to St Peter Port was across the road and there were regular buses in and out of the main port. Breakfast was great and Jonathan happy to do different combinations . Bar open with pool table, darts and juke box with local residents.
