Out of town but very accessible by car. Room/facilities were immaculate. Heating was easy to manage - I like to be able to open the bedroom window and this was very easy to do. Breakfast was simple self-service but everything had been thought of. The hosts kept to themselves - which suited us - but were approachable if required

I'd recommend Brecbennoch. The room and facilities were spotlessly clean. We were greeted with a warm welcome. You can tell the owners take pride in the property which is kept to a high standard and the bedding is cosy. I loved the generous breakfast selection, especially the facility to make eggs. The location is a short way from town but opposite a beautiful beach and the bedroom had a lovely view. I liked little touches like the radio playing quietly at breakfast and the smell of the room.

The B&B is a little bit outside Oban, but easily reachable with the car. The room was very cozy and clean. We had the room with the shared bathroom, but that was no problem at all and I think we were the only guests using the bathroom which is two doors down. The host is exceptionally nice and exactly the right amount of accommodating without making you feel like you are in somebody else's space (something we have experiences it past B&Bs). The breakfast was self-service and plentiful and exceeded our expectations.

It was our second time at Brecbennoch and we enjoyed our stay very much. Lorne and her husband were very friendly and helpful and they made us feel comfortable all the time. The breakfast is very good, the eggs were freshly cooked and there was a wide range of cereals and other tasty things. The view from our window was fantastic, the beach is just a five minutes walk away and Oban a five minute drive. The room is clean and cosy, we had a fantastic time at Brecbennoch.
