Great location, especially liked the first floor bar where we could sit and enjoy a drink while watching the sunset!!! Beautiful. staff were very friendly and the lady who cleaned the rooms even came running out to us after checking out because we had left something behind - so kind of her. Lovely view of widemouth bay from the hotel.

Glebe House was a perfect location for us. A quiet village setting yet with easy access to the Cornish coast.
The house was very comfortable and had a lovely ambience. The beds were comfy with good quality bed linen, pillows and each bedroom was a generous size.
Downstairs the large sitting room had plenty of comfortable seating and was open plan to the kitchen. We watched sports and drama on the large TV and it was fully equipped with all the extras, like Netflix, iPlayer etc.
The property has a full size bathroom upstairs and a shower room and toilet downstairs. The garden is large and there's plenty of parking space for your vehicles.
Outside all the bins and recycling were contained behind an easily accessible wooden door and all of it was well organised and clean.
Situated in Bude, within 31 km of Launceston Castle, Kallowen Cottage at Crackington Haven, near Bude and Boscastle, Cornwall is an accommodation offering river views.

I had a phone call to let me know where the keys would be left. I contacted the owner as we couldn’t get hot water to work, responded and talked me through it and said would come and look at it if any issues. Lovely propert in an idyllic location. Nice and quiet but not far away from other places. Would be lovely to come back when it’s dry and warmer, would be a perfect break!

A lovely seaside town. Lots of restaurants, bars cafes. If you like walking there are coastal paths to follow. Great for surfers. Attractive wharf which has a pub, cafes and a bistro called The Olive tree which does really good food. For a really good Sunday lunch The Preston Gate Inn is a must. They have a large family adventure centre with an outdoor adventure playground. There is also a castle which is free to visit it has a cafe with stunning sea views. There are a number of beaches to visit. Varied shops consisting of a mix of both independent traders and well known stores. A great place to stay and north Devon is not far away if you wish to explore.

There is a great beach Summerleaze, which is really near the hotel where you can go on in summer or winter and have a great walk along the coast, or a paddle. There were lots of surfers out there.
There are plenty of cafes/restaurants to visit even in autumn/winter
Bude is a great central place to stay and easily visit other attractions in Cornwall and Devon - Eden project, Tintagel Castle, Lost Gardens of Heligan - just be aware that the satnav tends to send you down all those very narrow 1 track roads!
Only regret was that we didn’t manage to fit in a cream tea

I've been travelling to Bude for the last 42yrs, always try to get there at least once a year. Love this part of the country and the only place I feel totally relaxed and peaceful. Great sandy beaches, the great Bude sea pool, good food to be found in many places.
The sea lock leading to the Bude canal offers great walks, leading to nature trails, including bird hides looking over the marshes.
Great surfing and also great links golf course.

Breakfasts lovely, great choice, the rooms are lovely and comfortable and location is great for accessing everything Bude has to offer. We paid for parking at the Pay and Stay Car Park across the road which was £7 a day, as the restricted park outside the hotel was a little busy. John and Anita were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. John even gave my son a little surfing advice and pointed him in the right direction with regards to board hire.
Will hopefully return in the near future. Thank you for taking care of us.
The location was perfectly close to three (Crooklets, Summerleaze and Northcott) of the four beaches that we typically visit when were in Bude. Sandymouth and Widemouth can both be reached on foot for those that like to walk a little further or are a ten minute drive away. Bude town centre and Sainsburys can also be accessed easily on foot or a short drive.
The resort was perfectly well kept, clean & warm accommodation. Staff very friendly on arrival, we didn't need them for anything other than check in/check out.
The Caravan was fantastic it was like being at home it had everything you needed for a pleasant stay, it was very clean, it had a small park for the children our daughter loved it. The location was ideal just 10 minutes from Bude Town centre and the beach and sea pool. Its great for exploring the local area. The staff at the reception were lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area for things to do and see. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely go back.
🌅 Friendly people, i was made very welcome. Very clean rooms. All amenities you would need. Beautiful comfy pillows! Hot showers ! Lovely food and coffee.Good selection of teas to choose from in the room with six little cartons of milk for that extra cuppa.Tele with lots of channels that i actually wanted to watch, unlike the usual hotels/b&bs. Full length mirror.
Good clean furniture.
I will definitely book here every time i visit Bude !
😊
Great place to stay for one or more nights in Bude, as besides comfortable en suite rooms and full breakfast cooked to order, the hotel has a fantastic casual dining restaurant operating in the evening. It is usually fully booked and fully deserves to be - it will be my first choice to stay in North east Cornwall from now on, either for work or a short break to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastline. The coast path virtually passes the front door of the property!
The stay in the Grosvenor guest house was excellent, I liked the reception upon arrival, the room and the breakfast.
You get a good selection of what you would like for breakfast and the owners can't do enough for you. The other guests were also very nice and got on with them very well. The location in Bude is perfect, the walk to the beach is only 5 mins, local restaurants and the Town Centre is nearby as well. I would definitely recommend to others.
Was a little unsure when the host wrote that this was in his back garden, the entrance is via a rear alley but when you get in what a gem of a place. This is better than any hotel room. (Unless you want to sit in a hotel room and look at the beach). It's lovely and quite and only a few minutes walk to the nearest beach and 10 minds to the town and another beach. When we return this will definitely be the first place to try and stay.
Cosy and clean. Loved the wood burning stove! well designed and thought out with everything you need for a self catering stay in Cornwall. Lovely family run business with a good team of staff to help. Close to Kilkhampton for small shops and pub and bigger shops just down the road in Bude. Coast is a 5 minute drive and easy access to Clovelly, Bude and Tintagel.
Cozy, clean room, 5 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were accommodating and very helpful. Perfect place to stay for those doing the coastal walks in the region. The bathtub in this room would have been great at the end of a long hike. Unfortunately I started my hike from Bude instead of ending it there.
The hotel proved excellent value for money. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast menu was wonderful! So many healthy choices, all local produce freshly cooked to order. The location couldn’t have been better! Close to town, the beach and all local amenities. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to beautiful Bude.
Great location and great room with our own private terrace and sea view. Loved the Nespresso machine!!
Staff were wonderful at both the hotel and restaurant and couldn't do enough for us
Good choice of breakfast and staff more than happy to accommodate bespoke requests where possible
great location. easy walk into Bude and the beaches. the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. The hotel was exceptionally clean.
the food was outstanding, good menu, all beautiful cooked no presented. The modern fun interior decor made it very individual and comfortable.
The room was spacious and absolutely spotless, the view was of the canal and was lovely, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. We really did enjoy our stay and would recommend the Falcon hotel for comfort and class.
property was spotless and location for the coastal path and Bude centre was great! if you’re hoping to use the swimming pool make sure you check with the holiday park that it’s open as we were disappointed when it wasn’t.
This is the perfect place for families and couples to enjoy the gateway to Cornwall. A beautiful and very homely feeling caravan with a luxury style. Everything was perfect and couldn't fault a thing!
Lovely hotel serving great food (breakfast and evening meals were of an excellent standard and plentiful) a great location with lovely views over Bude and the beach
