Very welcoming, loved the space. Breakfast excellent. Perfectly located adjacent to Speyside Way. Fridge and microwave so we could make ourselves tea (ideal if arriving on foot). Our dog loved his bed too.

Really warm hospitality and excellent facilities. As for ready to eat breakfast, It is good policy because guests can leave anytime and the food was also good as far as for such porpoise. I have no complaint. However I also love Scottish salmon...

Very beautiful house in a quiet little village, very welcoming couple who were nice enough to do some washing for me as I am campervanning. Plenty of breakfast food, coffee and tea if wanted and also a smart tv in the room with a massive comfy bed...

Dalmunach House is on the famous Speyside Way, right in the heart of Whisky country, The village of Carron is very peaceful and it is not unusual to see all sorts of wildlife on the doorstep. I often get deer, pheasants, squirrels, hedgehogs and hares in the garden. You can also see Buzzards and Herons in the daytime and Bats and Owls at night. Dalmunach House is also a fantastic dark sky location. There are no shops in Carron Village but the beautiful town of Aberlour has shops, deli, post office and some of the best restaurants in Moray. Aberlour is only 3 miles away and worth a visit.
I love living here because I can walk and cycle along the Speyside Way. In summer I can go to the coast and snorkel in the Moray Firth and in winter I can ski the Lecht. I have two Springer Spaniels called Snuggles and Dougal who enjoy all the great places to walk too. Living here feels like I am on holiday every day.
Johnstons of Elgin Woolmill, Brodie Country Fare have a wide range of Mens & Womens Country Clothing, as well as Scottish Gifts, Toys and Hampers. Ben Rinnes is the highest freestanding mountain in Moray at 2733ft Linn Falls, Aberlour .This excellent short walk visits the fine Linn of Ruthrie (Linn Falls) on the Aberlour Burn. A magnificent 16th century tower house filled with antique furniture and paintings. Balvenie Castle is a ruined castle near Dufftown. Originally known as Mortlach, it was built in the 12th century by a branch of the powerful Comyn family and extended and altered in the 15th and 16th centuries.
