Unique decor, a lot of aspects were very nice such as old style heavy curtains in the bedrooms. it did feel like visiting a hotel in the 50s.

Warm spacious bedroom for 3 adults, we had a good cooked breakfast, which was made by the chef, not a buffet. Pleasant drink at the bar in relaxed surroundings. The staff were well mannered and helpful. It had high ceilings and more room than the modern hotel chains. Easy to find and good free parking on site. We used the swimming pool and gym, the sauna and stream room both nice and hot.
