Forest How Guest House
Eskdale Green, Eskdale, CA19 1TR, United Kingdom – Excellent location - show map
This place is fantastic. The owners are super kind and welcoming, they are very sweet. They take care of the wildlife, there are always nuts and seeds in the garden for birds and squirrels, and it’s lovely to just sit and observe the animals. We saw the red squirrels twice for breakfast- they are so cute and it made us so happy! Room was big and clean with a fantastic view of the valley and the mountains. We could see deers from our window! The garden, as mentioned, is a lovely and relaxing place. Great location too, plenty of walks start from here and there are many great pubs in the area. Breakfast is delicious (I loved the melon!) and they can make you a great packed lunch to bring with you, which is super handy and very cute! It’s in a very quiet area and it’s the perfect place to unwind. I can’t recommend this place enough, I wish we could have stayed longer!
