Comfortable beds, good sleep. Location (surprisingly) quiet - suppose some people may find 5 am work traffic noisy but remember these are people working or going to work. It didn't bother me. Likewise, a party downstairs in evening could be noisy to some - but they were customers in early evening and gone before it was late. Didn't bother me

Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you which made the experience that much better. Breakfast was nice. The room was clean and in good order. We enjoyed the quiet location and found it was quiet over the night time. Room itself was nicely decorated. For the price you pay, you can’t grumble too much!

An excellently located hotel with plenty of nice bars and restaurants a step away but also only 10 minute walk into the town centre. The hotel itself is decorated impeccably to a 5-star hotel standard - I would say the most beautiful I have seen (and I have stayed in plenty of places!). The manager was very helpful and did not hesitate to answer any questions or be of any assistance. It is definitely worth a stay!

Myself and my partner had a fantastic stay, the check-in process is very simple, and the room was spotlessly clean. I had some post-stay enquiries, I was assisted via message and telephone, by a very efficient lady called Tina who resolved everything to a satisfactory manner. Keep up the good work, and looking forward to returning.

Some places can be expensive, too expensive. Takes time to find what is reasonable priced.
Lot of roadworks, traffic diversions - very annoying and could understand people not visiting or staying long because of this.
Lot of cafes, but almost all closed for business by early afternoon - bit of wilderness for such cafes in afternoon/evening.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

A beautiful little city, not as touristy as York or Chester but along those lines. Getting off the train at Worcester Foregate Station (handy for day trips to Gloucester, Great Malvern and Hereford) and you're straight into the middle of town, loads of shops and restaurants, excellent museum, heavenly cathedral, Friar street, a lovely medieval road, includes the Tudor house museum. There is also a Royal Worcester pottery museum which is excellent....recommended. NOTE: A few Worcester attractions are closed Mon & Tue....need to check !!

Worcester it’s self is a lovely place, beautiful old streets with plenty of coffee shops, river walks, great cathedral. All easily in walking distance for the day. Malvern is close by where hill walks are great
Staff were very helpful, friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble.
Food was great and good value for money.
Beer garden was the best I have seen. There was plenty of tables outside and also a covered area that had heaters. There was a brilliant area for children to play in that is safe and secure.
The level of cleanliness is exceptional.
We had our dog and the location was perfect with great walks nearby.
We are travelling from Scotland to Torquay and this was a fabulous hotel to break the journey. A great start to our holiday.
The property was just like the pictures described, it was clean, easy to access and the property management company always responded to emails fast. Another huge plus being in City Centre you're within blocks of a lot of good restaurants, the Worcester Foregate station is within a block of the flat. All utilities worked well. While we stayed there all guests were extremely quiet, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. I'm sure when we visit again, I'll try and book here.
This hotel is outstanding. It’s history is really interesting and it was great to read about it in the guest information. It’s set by a river close to a swan sanctuary, the views are incredible and the swans are graceful and plentiful. We stayed in a junior suite that had french doors opening onto a lawned area that overlooked the river. It was peaceful & tranquil. A short walk along the canal took us into Worcester centre where there was plenty to see and do.
Excellent location. Didn't meet staff because it's self check in with keycode, but that worked well. Everything we needed in the room and was immaculately clean. Used the restaurant suggestions and weren't disappointed.
Parking nearby is only £3.60 for 24 hours.
Having a kitchen is ideal for us because we like to do our own breakfast.
We would use it again if in Worcester area.
Beautifully renovated historic house. It is tucked away so there is a sense of privacy. The room was sympathetically designed, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was a short walk from the main centre of Worcester, cafes and restaurants, cathedral and about 12 minutes walk from the cricket ground. The hosts were very responsive when we got in contact before our stay.
Bed was very comfy, room was quiet and spacious (22).
The windows opened and the radiator could be turned down or off which was much better than many hotels I've stayed in where it was far too hot and the air conditioning didn't work.
Breakfast was good and the staff were all excellent.
Very good location and Worcester itself was a great place for a weekend away.
This was a great find.stopped off here while travelling home from the north to the south of the country. This was a clean and lovely restful stop. Modern decorated with a lovely on suite in the crown hotel just next to the pub.did not hear the pub.well located in the heart of the lovely city of worcester.easy walking to the bars, cafes, restaurants and attractions.
An excellent find. We were given a wonderfully friendly welcome and shown to our rooms which were more spacious and more comfortable than rooms in much larger and expensive hotels. The location was just what we needed - a quiet village setting and close to the Elgar Birthplace Museum. We will certainly stay here again on future Worcester trips.
The room was quite big compared to others I have used and the bed was comfortable. The one thing that really annoyed me was the £10 per day charge for parking my car in the Hotel's Car Park area. I consider this to be un-acceptable. On this holiday, I stayed in 10 hotels in total and Fownes Hotel was the only one to charge for parking.
The room had an excellent view over the Severn and we enjoyed watching the large number of swans which swam up and down in front of our window. The accommodation was spacious and well furnished. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the centre of Worcester
Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s not The Ritz, but I did not expect it to be. We six elderly friends met at the hotel for a night out in Worcester. Location perfect. Comfortable night’s sleep in my family room. Breakfast fry up with coffee/tea and orange juice was great value at £6.00.
The staff were friendly and courteous, the breakfast was excellent and I particularly liked the idea of the "green clean", altogether a very environmentally friendly hotel but still kept very clean and tidy. Super location for the many attractions in Worcester.
A beautiful little apartment, ideally placed for a stay in Worcester ! Very well equipped , lovely and clean !! Nice private enclosed garden area, off road parking . A real little gem and cheaper than most hotels in the area !
It was our second stay at this hotel and we were very pleased again. Its very clean and well presented in a perfect location, very quiet, but very close to the centre of Worcester . Nice comfortable room with a nice breakfast.
Smooth check-in. Quiet room at the back of the hotel this time, I have stayed in a room over the street before and that was very noisy. Room was clean, bathroom was well stocked. Only stayed a night, so perfect for our needs.
Secluded, secure location surrounded by countryside. Yet easy access to nearby towns Pershore, Evesham, Worcester etc. Spacious house with all amenities including all TV channels. Everything we needed.
