Howard Farm Cottages are ideally placed in beautiful peaceful surroundings with spectacular views over rolling countryside. These fully equipped charming cottages will be your home away from home and your hosts will ensure that you will want for nothing. With fully equipped kitchens, washing machines, microwaves, dining facilities, modern lounges with flat screen TV,s, and comfy bedrooms. BBQ facilities are also included with garden furniture. Upon arrival for your convenience, we have included a welcome pack of standard packs of tea, coffee, sugar with fresh milk in the fridge. Branded toiletries are also included.
Your hosts Marilyn and John live on site for your security, peace of mind and well being while you relax and unwind in this idyllic country property.
The historic town of Stratton is within walking distance of the cottages. Guests love to visit the two local public houses both of which serve a varied menu for all tastes. (The Kings Arms allow dogs) A well stocked grocers shop is also located in Stratton. We even have our very own Fish and Chip van that visits the car park on Thursdays! Within one mile, guests can enjoy "The Splash" indoor swimming pool with wave machine. Next door is a ten pin bowling alley with Soft Adventure claiming frames for younger children. Morrisons, LIDL, B&M, and Peacocks are located on the same complex. The beautiful seaside town of Bude is just 5 minutes drive away which boasts 2 Blue Flag beaches. Also an 18 hole golf course is available for your enjoyment. Along Bude canal it is possible to hire rowing boats, canoes and paddle boats. After a lazy afternoon on the water, what better than a Cornish cream tea or locally produced Cornish ice cream. An abundance of shops and restaurants adorn this bustling town. Why not visit Tamar Lakes during your visit for water sports or maybe Doc Martins Port Wenn (Really Port Issac). The charming fishing harbour of Clovelly is nearby
