We are The Cornish Way Limited. My name is Seb and together with assistance from Adrienne and Lowenna we run The Cornish Way, a small local holiday agency managing a fine collection of cottages on behalf of their owners. Working from a converted dairy on the outskirts of Penzance together with our office dogs, Otto and Herbie we are located close by to all the cottages. The whole team live locally so always get in touch. We are usually on hand to help with your stay even if its just a tip for a good local pub or beach!

2 NIGHT BREAKS ON REQUEST AND GENEROUS 7 NIGHT DISCOUNTS. Unique and Wow factor are over used terms but this stunning apartment in Cornwall’s largest converted engine house really does have them in spades. Set in over an acre of landscaped private grounds with a summer house overlooking the stunning mini lake, it is a perfect retreat for two. *Sofa bed can be made up for 1 child at a surcharge*

Neighbourhood information

The area is a world heritage site and surrounded by stunning countryside and coast. Although tucked away, The Engine House is only five minutes to Marazion and its glorious beach. Travelling East it is under ten minutes to Perranuthnoe, a pretty cove with the award-winning Victoria Inn and Praa sands with laid back beach bar and fantastic surf. Leave the car and grab the bikes left for guests use, a great way to explore the local area. It’s a perfect spot for touring the wider West Cornwall too and St Ives Penzance, Mousehole and Sennen are all in easy reach as well as Porthleven to the East which is fast becoming a go to foodie destination. A regular bus service goes through Marazion about 1 mile away, from where you can travel both east and west. The nearest train station is about 6 miles away in Penzance where there is also a ferry to the Isles of Scilly.
