The friendliness of the staff was exceptional, wonderful woman on reception and bubbly man behind the bar. There was a free minibar in the room which just shocked us, it included cans of soft drinks and bottles of juice and alcohol. A little walk to the centre of London but it a nice little walk over Waterloo Bridge.

I prefer to stay in more boutique style accommodation so I booked this instead. I'm glad I did! The room was decently sized, clean and had great amenities. I loved that the mini-bar was all free (including several beers). I requested a quiet room at the time of booking and the room I stayed in was very quiet indeed. I had a really good night's rest. The staff are friendly and the pub downstairs is very nice.
United KingdomComfortable and clean, surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. The bar/restaurant was nice, we only had drinks but the food being brought to other people's tables looked tasty. Great location. However I think what most impressed me was the genourous number of UHT milk pots provided alongside a whole pint of milk - excellent mini bar and hot drink provision, particularly for those that can't do without a tea or coffee 😂

On the , just 150 yards from the River Thames, this beautiful 19th-century building offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a charming bar offering tasty food and real ales.
The Mad Hatter Hotel is located in Southwark, one of the oldest parts of London. The building was once a hat factory and the beautiful original exterior now houses comfortable and modern rooms.
Rooms feature a satellite TV with sports channels, radio, iron and a private bathroom with hairdryer.
