Bridlington is a clean seaside town with a fair few shops and lots of pubs and restaurants. Our visit was in February so many shops were shut for the winter, but there was still a nice atmosphere. On the downside there does seem to be a lot of shops shut down or turned into bars.

I booked to stay here for when I finished cycling The Way of The Roses, and it was just perfect. I was able to securely store my bike, and parking was available for when my hubby arrived. The room was really beautifully furnished and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was an added bonus to have breakfast amenities in the room, along with a fridge, and fresh milk was provided. If I end up in Bridlington again, this will be the first hotel that I try to book.
There are not many good hotels in Bridlington, so we went on Star Rating - the Rooms are exceptionally large, basic but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast, you could order what you like - ask for smaller portions if you do not require a 'Big Farmers Breakfast'! - nothing too much trouble for the staff - it is obviously geared up for Golfers - good location, you can walk to the beach 5-10 minutes - quiet residental road. Very pleasantly surprised.
The Expanse Hotel is perfectly situated, you just have to cross the road and you're on the beach. My room not only had a sea view but also a balcony and because it was sheltered, it wasn't too chilly to sit out there with a cup of tea, even in February. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist (Sue I think), who was great. A booking mix-up (entirely my fault) was quickly and easily resolved. Breakfasts were great.
Lovely breakfast and a good choice room clean jugs of milk available in an upstairs fridge staff friendly lovely cream tea on arrival location good for sewerby hall and gardens that was great value for money not to far away to visit Selby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington Which is walking distance from the hotel

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel was in a good quiet location just outside of Bridlington with easy access to the beach and town centre. We didn't stay for breakfast or dine in the restaurant but must say the food smelt amazing.
The accommodation was as expected for a budget hotel. The room was a reasonable size, clean and tidy. The food at the on-site restaurant was good. The hotel is quite a distance from the beach and Bridlington town. The staff who do the cleaning were very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic Guest House, Amy & Ian are great hosts. The accommodation (Room 7) and facilities are superb, and with parking available in the immediate vicinity make this my favourite Guest House in Bridlington. Can't recommend this place enough, outstanding value for money.
Great location, with free street Permit parking. Permit from Hotel, just ask.
Town 200 yards away.
Great host ( Manda), very welcoming..
Clean room with extras. Beds comfortable, decent shower and very quiet neighbourhood.
Excellent place to stay.
Great location. Easy walk to town and Bridlington Spa venue. There is a bit of parking out the front with signs saying reserved for the hotel use. We parked without an issue. The staff are incredibly helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was delicious; the bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower worked beautifully with plenty of hot water. I was made to feel very welcome and will book again when I am next in Bridlington.
Lovely hotel. Clean.. Well look after.. Lovely bedroom... Lovely people.. When i next go to bridlington i will be looking up this hotel again.. Made very welcome
Quiet location close to the beach. Nice to have the verandah to sit on. Easy reach to use the park and ride and land Train or a lovely walk into Bridlington.
The cottage was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. it was in a very serene location but close enough to the centre of Bridlington and the beach.
Location was excellent 2 mins from seafront and centre of promenade, Tesco express close by, plus plenty of restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
