Loved that we could bring our dog along! They also catered for me at breakfast with gluten free versions of nearly everything on the menu. Great atmosphere in the bar in the evening and yet our room was totally quiet when we went upstairs to bed. Perfect location for exploring the Lake District too.

Everything was spot on. Couldn’t ask for a better place. The facilities was bang on me and my partner absolutely loved it and we will be back at some point this year everything was clean and tidy as we arrived. Hygiene was excellent The projector outside was a good touch. The sauna was brilliant. Hot tub was brilliant too could not fault it in a slightest best place ever been to keep up the good work guys. 👍🏻

Free WiFi which pleased my daughter.
The lodge is really well equipped everything you need for your stay.
Harry the dog loved the outdoor space, secure and good for him to nosey at passes by.

The Longlands is not in the town of Carnforth, it is located...
The Longlands is not in the town of Carnforth, it is located at Tewitfield Marina nearby. Tewitfield is in the countryside, close to the Lancaster canal with some great walks. I can imagine that there is a lot going on in the school holidays and weekends, alongside the marina with a good atmosphere. It is in close proximity of the M6 and A6 making it accessible to the South Lakes and Morecambe bay. We drove through Carnforth it is a busy town on the A6

Lovely comfortable and clean rooms, with an excellent breakfast included in the price. The restaurant meals were good quality, but for me the thing that distinguishes the place from others was the wonderful staff they have. Small town but had a lovely book store ( new and second hand...
Small town but had a lovely book store ( new and second hand) and lots of choice of catergories.I stayed at Royal Station Hotel which provided basic and clean accommodation for the night. I personally wanted to go to Carnforth to visit the Heritage centre and watch the film Brief Encounter as it was filmed at the Carnforth railway station. The Refreshment room had good choices for lunch. You can also take a train through the edge of The Yorkshire Dales from there.

a really easy place to travel around & if you want explore different places there is a massive selection within easy reach we liked the whole place in general & the venue of pine lake resort is a top draw place of beauty

Lovely modern cottage.
Lovely modern cottage. It’s kitchen had everything needed to cook a full meal. Bed very comfortable. Shower hot. Quiet location even though it’s near to a motorway. Lovely walk along the canal and a pub on the doorstep. What’s not to like.

Books and board games are on the shelf， children will have a good time in the evening after one day's trip outside. Only half an hour's drive to Windermere which is the centre of the lake district, in addition the Devil's bridge is nearby. It only takes about 15 minutes to drive to the nearest supermarket in Kirkby Lonsdale. In short, it's a good place for family to stay.

We were made most welcome. Nic as a host was absolutely brilliant. Rooms were luxury and tastefully decorated. Great place for a wee romantic break. Just of the beaten track. Highly recommend and will be back if ever in the area again. The other thing I liked was the option of getting a takeaway and being able to have it in the hotel as their kitchen wasn't open. The rooms are really nice and modern, we absolutely loved the bathroom/shower too! The accommodation certainly exceeded our expectations and it made our romantic getaway to the Lake District even better.

Jan was on hand to let us in and was kind enough to find a football for our 11 year old, as he had forgotten to take one. There was everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
