    The apartment was in a great location with parking, which in st ives is definitely needed. Was a great place to stay and only a short walk to the beaches and shops/restaurants.

This is a modern three bedroom apartment with good facilities located within a well maintained, large, elegant, Edwardian building. . It has an ensuite to the main bedroom and a family bathroom. The kitchen is modern with a range of appliances such as a microwave, toaster, cooker, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The apartment is within 5 to 10 minutes walk of 3 beautiful sandy beaches and St Ives Harbour and shops. It has great views of St Ives Bay from the living room and the main bedroom. There is a large living room which has modern furniture with a TV with Freeview and an integral DVD player. It has a modern dining table and chairs. There is a lovely communal sun terrace to sit and relax and a large, well maintained garden for children to safely relax or play games. The apartment has a free car parking space which is a rarity in St Ives. There is a caretaker who lives in the building in Flat One and will meet and greet guests.
My wife and I love St Ives as it has beautiful beaches, great pubs and restaurants. We stay here when the property is not being used. We are lovers of all sports and love walking and cycling. Both of us are retired.
St Ives has 3 of the best beaches in Cornwall that have beautiful golden sand, are safe and child friendly. Plenty of good restaurants and public houses for all ages to sit and relax. It has a leisure centre for the energetic and a cinema. St Ives has lots of events going on throughout the year such as the Food Festival in May with top chefs. There are great walks along the coast with some of the most beautiful scenery in Cornwall. Many Historical sites including National Trust properies are close by. In St Ives there are many independent shops particularly ones showcasing the works of local painters, jewellerymakers and craftsmen and women. There are also a small number of 'big' name clothing shops within the Harbour area. The seafront has some of the most beautiful narrow lanes and houses that date back many, many years and reflect St Ives fishing heritage. There are a number of galleries and museums such as the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden and the Tate Gallery St Ives. These all again reflect the artistic heritage of St Ives. Cornwall and especially St Ives has traditionally some of the warmest weather in the UK and has a very mild climate for most of the year.
