The room I booked was spacious, clean, well heated, the cleaning staff did a good job. The facilities were absolutely fine and I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Room was spacious, had a bath and was very clean. The heating was on and room was lovely and warm, water pressure was great too! Continental breakfast was included which for £50 a night you can't sniff at!!

Basically, everything went well and a bonus was that we arrived early and were still able to check in about midday, which we didn't expect. Breakfast was excellent, continental, basic but enough. We only slept in the room so didn't need any frills, reception, lounge or bar. Another big plus was that I wanted a single room but had a double bed, so plenty of room to stretch out.

The room was very spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of amenities including tea, coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was also spacious and clean, with a powerful shower that kept the hot water (not always a guarantee)! Brilliant location and friendly staff, too. All in all a lovely visit.

Good quiet location, but still within easy walking distance to Douglas City centre, & there's a convenient bus stop across the road from the Hotel if you don't fancy the walk or are travelling further afield. Rooms are clean & warm, with tea & coffee making facilities (much appreciated!), & the bed was very comfortable, especially with the bonus of having extra pillows on hand. The breakfast of cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit juice(s), tea/coffee is more than adequate & does set you up for the day. The Staff we met were polite, friendly & happy to answer any questions we had. Would recommend The Penta to anyone looking for good, clean, very reasonably priced accommodation in Douglas.
