My family and I (two adults & two children) stayed in the two bedroom cottage and it was absolutely perfect for us. Spotless, everything in working order, no fuss key pick up and drop off, separate bedroom for the kids. Lots of thoughtful little things too, like dishwasher tablets, dish scourer and washing up liquid, tea towel, spare bin liners and toilet rolls, the sort of things were it's annoying having to buy a full box/roll/package only to use one, so that was a big plus for me. We also found restaurant recommendations, which was a nice touch, as was Paul messaging on the first day to make sure we were happy with everything. We really enjoyed our stay, even the kids (7 and 5) loved it and called it 'our cozy little cottage'. We'd definitely come back on future New Forest trips if we were lucky enough to find it available.

Pinewood is a late 19th century historic timber built cottage bungalow which has been internally modernised this year . All Four apartments have separate entrances with great broadband and wifi, and Netflix tvs Our Studio Suites comprise of total kitchens, ground floor open plan into bedroom Pinewood 1 with super king bed and Pinewood 2 with a King bed and Single bed plus ,sofas and modern electric glow wall fires.Of course there is central heating The luxury extends to the bathrooms that comprise of double sinks,double whirlpool bath with powered shower In addition there is a two bedrooms apartment with two bathrooms,, one on the first floor. The ground floor comprises of bathroom,kitchen and open plan bedroom,lounge/ and conservatory dining area that opens onto a fenced off private garden. A ground floor cosy double ensuite with kitchenette with bath and shower and Netflix tv There is private parking for five cars
Pinewood Cottage is surrounded by high hedges with a beautiful old Oak Tree at its entrance situated off the Southampton Rd which leads to Lyndhurst. The cottage is a rare example of timber framed New Forest bungalows dating back to 1885. The front is draped with colourful wisteria which adds a beauty to this character building Your hosts Paul and Christine live just 3 miles and are hands on with regards to its housekeeping and maintenance needs and have been in the hospitality industry for many years.
Pinewood is a late 19th century traditional timber built New Forest Cottage bungalow, adjacent to Ormonde House Hotel Set back from from the road, directly opposite the open Forest ,great for that early morning walk.and a five minute stroll into the historic Capital of the New Forest , LYNDHURST . Lyndhurst has at least 8 restaurants, 3 pubs, and numerous cafes that do breakfast Plus a Ferrari Garage ! Great for you petrol heads
